Lonely Beach is currently quite lonely as its the low season and many shops are still closed. Some are renovating and making improvements to their business & preparing for the next high season. I wish them all the best.

This Campground is great alternative to staying in a hotel, you can camp-out in a tent your own vehicle or camper van or in one of their small huts if available, There is a couple chill out bars & restaurants. Seems like a nice & friendly camping area next to the ocean with access to electric and water for your spot and the restrooms are clean and available. Its location is on the main road bet...

The Ko Chang Memorial commemorates the lives of some 36 Thai naval servicemen who lost their lives in a major naval battle during the French-Thai War in 1941. This video is of the small but very beautiful beach located at the memorial this location.

Was there last november for about the 5th time. Really like Kai Bea. Goid few bars & resto's. Lonely Beach was dead!!!
Do you get a scooter to get around when you go? If so, do you rent it right off of the ferry or get it close to where you stay? If not, how do you get around the island?

Thinking of koh chang for my 2024 trip. Which part of the island do you recommend for nightlife,nice bars ,restaurants and lovely beaches , this looks very cool .?
I live on the east (quite) side of KC, but we enjoy the many restaurants and beach in Kai Bae, next I would recommend the main beach called WhiteSand beach as it is the largest and most popular beach with the most nighttime beach dining. However there are some very nice places also to check out such as Lonely beach and Klong Prao both have their own vibe and worth visiting.

@@derekwhoelse8359 nightlife is definitely on the upswing but is still not back to pre covid levels.
@@kohchangfarang Thanks for your answer. Hopefully I will find a place to have some fun there. ;-p What I have seen so far is a lack of tourism in Thailand. The reason might be the expensive tickets at least, that's what I read here and there.
So generally speaking, is white sand beach the main nightlife area ? Cheers I’m a long time traveller to Thailand but never been to Koh Chang ( it’s on my radar )

Yes it is much cleaner on your video than it was 2 years ago.. Stunning undeveloped beach! Hurry up to visit it before there are new owners and overdevelopment starts.
that is not so easy ..the place was best developped about 15 years ago..each rainy season you have to repair the dust road to there and there are not so many visitors that its worth the money to start a business there.
