Thanks! I reckon there'll be snow. It's actually snowing today at Remarks! Otherwise, they'll usually top up with snow making. If you're worried, don't have to decide first. You can always make the decision closer to the date whether to go up or do something else in Queenstown after looking at the live-cam on what the snow looks like.

@@kenoikawa9204 Thanks for the question! I don't remember exactly but I think it was about 21,000 yen for 6 days. Prices always increase slightly from year to year, so check thier website for the latest! We rented gear with Winpy Box, a rental shop close to Hakuba Goryu base. Cheers!

@@williamkok Hi! Yes I have visited Remarkables, Coronet Peak and Cardrona. You might be interested in this recent video of my time at Remarkables, ua-cam.com/video/LfWGL0YWCAo/v-deo.htmlsi=jffDyvQ23CBsqvBL. When driving to ski resort, you need to carry snow chains on your car. Most days, you do not need to put on the snow chains but on some rare occassions after heavy snow they may need to be put on. Coronet peak is the easiest to drive to with sealed roads all the way. Remarkables and Cardrona are unsealed gravel roads, so a bumpier ride but otherwise manageable too. Drive safe! Cheers!

That's exciting! During winter, around Goryu, there are several free shuttle bus routes that bring people from the hotels to Goryu. So it's generally very easy with the shuttle bus. Walking from the hotel to Goryu is possible, but there was a bit of a hill which makes it cumbersome in ski boots and carrying bulky gear. My advice, just learn the shuttle bus timings when you get to your hotel and use that. Going to the other ski areas, there is a bus that goes to all the other areas that leaves from Goryu itself, no need to go to JR station. If you have a Hakuba all-area day pass, that includes the cost of taking these buses. If you only have a pass that is good for 1 ski area (like a Tsukaige one day pass), then you will need to pay additional for the bus from Goryu to Tsukaige. Also speak to your hotel if they offer discounted passes. If your hotel is close to Goryu, it is likely they can offer discounted passes for Goryu/Hakuba47. Cheers!!

Hi! It was actually not in a restaurant per se. It was at the hotel we stayed with, Hotel Montblanc. They do dinner meals that you can opt in for. When we were there, we had the choice of a western or japanese dinner. All of us chose the japanese option which on that evening was the sukiyaki! :)

This particular job in Hahei was not paid, rather, it was ~2-3h of simple work a day in exchange for free accomodation. All the best on your whv!
