Such a great Deep Dive into the body horror genre🤩 .Eyes without a face is such an amazing film and it's also traumatizing and sad .Altered States, The Thing and Hellraiser some of my favotite films ever.I think as a woman ,society is so focused on our external appereance it creates a dichotomy of how we perceive ourselves internally and externally ,I think it is why I like body horror 🩶.

The 1977 Island Of Dr.Moreau with Burt Lancaster & Michael York is a terrifically underrated film with a beautiful Barbara Crampton also appearing in her pre James Bond days. The 1996 remake with Marlon Brando & Val Kilmer is dreadful.

He was the one who made doctor strange 2 unique from marvel (in positive way).

Both films are fantastic and the 2 best of the bunch.

Each movie is great for thier era. If I was young when the original came out I'd been scared out of my mind. 2013 Evil dead was perfect for my 30 year old self, it had a more seriousness about it and was way more gorey. So to me, they are both 9/10.
