The design looks like the old King H.N. White Flugelhorn.
This was interesting to watch. Thank you for sharing the details and the dataset. You're awesome!
Great, thanks for sharing. I’m having a hard time passing the code in Celsius, if you have time! Thanks in advance
To convert from f to c, subtract 32, divide by 1.8. you can fork and modify the code to do this. The easiest is to leave the logic in Fahrenheit and to convert to Celsius right before displaying to the user: To do this, in the function "displayStatusLCD", before line 89, insert: actualTemp = (actualTemp-32)/1.8; desiredTemp = (desiredTemp-32)/1.8;
@@scanteianu Ok thank you very much for your quick response. I subscribe.

How you connected potentiometer to adjust the set point. Any schematic diagram?
hi I wanted to build this for my old trailer that you would need to turn the heater on off on in order to start it and i could not use any other thermostat so i wanted to build this but where is the library?
github.com/Scanteianu/arduinoThermostat/blob/master/thermostat.ino Note that for a heater, you would have to change the code in line 62 (set cooling function), as you would want to turn on the heat the temperature if the ambient is slightly below the target and turn it off when it's slightly above.
@@scanteianu thanks a lot!
Dan you rock dude. Or I mean you jazz or something.
Great job congratulations
Keep rocking Dan!
Great video!
First
Well those saying it's trumpet-like... Mouthpiece has a lot more to do with the less-than-warm sound.
I think people don't appreciate how Jazzy this song really is. There's some really nice jazz licks that Harrison throws in at the end of the tune but they're so subtle. Nice arrangement!
Keep it up my friend 👍
First!
It is happening again today!
Great sound for plastic. Warm and soft like a flugel sounds. What mouthpiece are you using?
sounds like a trumpet because it is being played like a trumpet. Should keep to middle notes and below that is what it is designed for.
Probably sounds like a trumpet because the bell flare doesn't really start in earnest until the last 10% of the horn's length, past the last bend. The really dark/round sounding flugels will flare noticeably even as soon as the first bend after the valve pack, probably through at least the last 30% of the horn's length, maybe even half. In that way, they almost look like tiny tubas sometimes, more than just a fat trumpet. Or maybe this could be said to be more of a cornet in a trumpet configuration.
It doesn’t sound flugelhorn enough for me, not mellow enough ...thanks for the demo ( sounds like a trumpet )
I think it's because of its embouchure, look at it as a trumpet player, I'm a tubist and a horn player, I just bought one and it's on the way, when I try it I'll let you know if it sounds the same
Josecarlos Gonzalez what did you buy?
@@jeicy8016 im interested in one. how was yours tonewise
You said it much nicer than what I was going to say.
@@bonda3rd150 It has pretty good sound quiality
yo. I've been meaning to get my hands on one of these. I played Trombone in highschool, I'm currently picking up an alto sax, but I've always loved the sound of the trumpet but could never play one. Want to see if the mouthpiece shape would help me play a trumpet like instrument, you know?
The major difference between brass instruments and woodwinds is embouchure. Consider - the mouthpiece on a brass instrument requires that your lips ARE the reed! If you can grasp that, more power to ya'! Play on - play great!
I’m a trumpet player, and I can confirm what the other reply said. You must be the reed. You have to buzz your lips at high speeds into the instrument. Depending on the speed of your lips moving, this will change the note. This goes for all brass instruments. Okay after I finished writing this I realized you put yours 4 years ago and probably already learned how to play trumpet
Great demo. I picked one of these up a few months ago and I'm enjoying the heck out of it. I've had some complements when playing it a church and until I can afford a Kanstul, this will keep me going.
Stephen Hill thinking of buying one just for fun, i have the trombone and the slide is slow, do the valves get stuck or are slow, will using valve oil help?
I took a nail file and just barely touched up the inside of the valve guides and they are now nice and smooth. With practice I can play them without all of the clicking. I have a demo somewhere on youtube comparing it with a brass flugelhorn. Have fun.
I <3 u petr
Love it
Guess you can say this was a very 'fruitful' performance :3
This isnt bluegrass, but dont give up
