Bought a 70s partscaster and it had this early 50s Fender Tele bridge pickup. So I slapped it into a cheap body and built a basic Esquire circuit.

A few cool pieces this week. Both are outta this world!
Love the KMOD stickers. Viva Tulsa radio and RIP Radio SRO 😊
how much was boost?
They sold for $99 new, but there was only 817, so the secondary market is still deciding. $200-315 right now.
@@nathanwainwright0 so you paid only $100? this looks like your first boost...
@@mrmeme-jq6qr yeah. I don’t use a lot of pedals.
Hey! Was wondering if you get a very high pitch noise when on FET mode? I’m not sure if this normal?
I’m not sure what you mean. I got some feedback because of the gain level, but I don’t think there was anything beyond that
@@nathanwainwright0 I think there was an issue with mine and I contacted their customer service about it. Fortunately, jhs has solid customer service and will have it repaired for me under warranty.
@@joshuacastillo9950 that’s great! With a limited run, it’s probably hard to have spare parts for repair. Congrats!
Nice!!!
Man I wish I could have that guitar
...a question: I also have the UE-405, when I turn the attack of the compressor there is no audible change in the sound, is it the same with you? regards
I apologize, I no longer have the unit. I don’t think I had any issues with any of the effects though.
have one I bought new in 1964 (Sears)115.00
Silvertone with an amp built into the case. Fantastic!
The thing that draws me to this guitar is, as a slightly larger individual (6-2, 190) it would be a better fit than the solid body single cuts. Purely an aesthetics thing, yes, but if it's still a quality guitar and I don't have to worry about feedback AND it looks great then why not!
What would be the value of one of these today? I'm in Canada and know of one being sold and they're asking $1000. Is worth it? Not sure if there's a footswitch included.
If it’s in good condition, $1000 isn’t unreasonable. I got $900 for this one I think and the market is up. I have just a case in stock at $250, but that’s in poor shape
@@nathanwainwright0 thank you very much for your input.
I got mine in the early 60s for Christmas bought from Sears..
Last overdrive song you played? i think i heard that before
I'm thinking about making one of my own for a stratocaster. I have a cool oversized guitar case that I got from a pawn shop and a cheap Orange mini combo amp that I will likely be salvaging to build into the case because I hardly ever use it. I really don't know why this concept isn't a thing anymore, I bet if someone sold cases like that for a few common models they could make a lot of money.
Yeah. After the Peavey “amp in case” they really started to go the way of the dodo. Some transitioned to the speaker in the guitar, but that was terrible.
Awesome demo
Hilton Valentine used one in the early days of the Animals
5 boxes? Seems kind of douchey when some people try and fail every year to get these.
How much did you payed for it? I'm about to buy this guitar as my first serious guitar, do you think it's worth it? good and straight to the point review btw
Thank you! I thought its was a solid guitar overall. My complaints were mostly personal preference issues. The neck was really thick and I prefer a thinner neck. The only functionality issue was that because the break angle on strings was so short, the low E rattled on the screw holding the tremolo unit in.
Sweet man how was I not following you killer man so happy for you!
It's pretty sick!
Turn up the volume please....
Beautiful guitar my friend, love the sound and the style of the guitar. The thing i want to know is, if this has the neck dive/heavy neck problem.
The body has enough mass that it doesn't really have headstock dive. Not among the heaviest Fenders from the 70's, it still weighs a respectable 9lbs
Almost strumming the saddles, so far back
When I was 14 I dug the amp part out of the trash this month I turned 58 , I still have it and the amp part on these are something special they kick ass big time, so cool to see the shape this is in , I hope it get the home it deserves ....
gto I have someone coming for it in a couple weeks, promises it’ll get just that
Hi Is this sold?
Kevin Gamache sale is pending on this.
Sounds cheap .... no one wants to by something that sounds this bad
what about it sounds cheap or bad?
Define sounds cheap
Seems to me they should have called it "Cabron" since it's longer and all. And has P-90s instead of fidelitrons. And need more colors!
You’re not wrong on the name. Lol. Fortunately, TV Jones has p-90 sized filtertrons. More colors would have been nice.
Make a video review of that Tele Cabronita please! 🙏🏼
Volks will do!
Yo is that one of the baritone Cabronita s behind you? How do you like it and is the quality par with classic vibe series? I want to grab one before they sell out ! (Do you think these will sell out fast?)
How bout that baritone cabronita
Telemaster sounds amazing can’t wait to get my natural finish one!
