Man that’s a beautiful state!
It sure is!
Thanks for sharing.
Nice to see the different airstrips. Looks like fun. What river is Thomas Creek by? Thanks for sharing.
Thomas Creek is on the Middle Fork of the Salmon River.
Probably the camera angle, but super impressed by the visibility. Nice video
Beautiful!
Where is this?
Nice jeep with irok's . Sweet combo !!
what size plow is it was thinking about putting one on 02 kia sportage
guess i should of read what i typed. The d60 is pretty much the best axle to use short of 2.5tons and up. As for the price, i dont care. i can get them for cheap
@landon460 here in michigan, they are at the junkyard for 200 bucks. I priced one two weeks ago for my jeep project. It was a 79 f 250. Granted it need to be gone through, brakes, ujoints, bearings, ect.. and its not rare enough to spend 2200 on one. You found a fuckin idiot right there. Why in the fuck would a person spend that much on a d60 when they can get a much better axle or build a different one stronger for less? I wouldnt spend no more than 500 cause id redo it regardless of whats said
@23HAMSANDWICH i figured. looked to me like the front broke
@flecur08 sorry. i didnt specify i was talking about the rear. which i assume is also a 60.
@codyaku yes, much stronger and anything will work with the proper modifications. Dont expect it to be road worthy as you may get a death wobble from steering angles and what have you but it would be fine in the mud. Your talking all around fab it for the montero though, it has an ifs in the front. Which means a completely new suspension set up. good luck
@landon460 a grand dude? I can get them at a junk yard for 200 an axle. lol
@23HAMSANDWICH ok, how can a front axle be semi or full floating? Unless you thought he broke the rear. But a front is either a D60 high pinion or high pinion i belive. But they are not floating axles.
I've never seen a semi floating front Dana 60
is it semi or full floating?
it is surprising cuz the only thing tougher than a dana is a god damn tank lol
Surprises me that that actually broke a Dana 60. It probably wasn't the best thing to be hopping like that, but I just thought the 60 could take that punishment.
Bigger, wider tires would prevent this?
i have a 1990 montero base and was wondering if the dana 60 or the 44 is stronger than my stock one and will they work for it.
Nice
pretty awesome. im running 10 bolts on the truck i take out there and still havent broke one :(
busting a dana60......that is pretty hardcore
