Which residence would you recommend for a first year student?
hey, I hope you're good quick questions :)) are you or anyone you know on NSFAS if so, how much does it give for off-campus residency? Also how far away are the campus/res' and stores away from each is it convenient? For a first year student would you recommend on-campus res' are they proper?
Hi. I don’t know about off campus allowances. Fort Hare has three campuses and I only know of this one I’m in (East London) campus and since it’s in town, it’s “on campus residents” are scattered around E.L. This means that some residents are relatively close to stores and campus, while others are fairly far. Lastly, for a first year in E.L campus, I would recommend on campus res as it is a lot safer in my opinion. I hope that answered your questions.

No Fort Hare does not deal with long distance learning, all campuses are interactive learning with the exception of COVID
