Back in the mid-60s I had Roll Over Beethoven and All My Loving. A few years ago I picked up the other 7. As you say, it is cool to have these on a Capitol label. The odd thing is that All My Loving/This Boy was the only one of these 9 that was not a single in the US on any of the non-Capitol labels. I also have the 6 Capitol Starline singles; I've had these for years. The Oldies 45s are among the most counterfeited 45s of all time. I have two that are originals but only the counterfeits for the other two (Please Please Me and Do You Want to Know a Secret).

Canada had the Green Swirl Star Line series, too. They issued the first three, skipped Secret and Beethoven, but issued Kansas City.I have a Kansas City(45-6066,stated as such on label)Rca pressed the Olive greens in '72.The Oldies 45 copies should be burnt Orange glossy labels, with the same stamper charistics as the VJ and Tollie copies.

Enjoyed this video from you two. I have only been collecting a very short time but love seeing what’s in large collections and hearing you talk about when and how you got interested in the Beatles. Will be watching all your other videos and already a member of both your FB pages

Thanks for sharing your knowledge! I have a question. I have not yet found a genuine stereo "Introducing The Beatles"; I'm just curious if the stereo mix is the same as the UK "Please Please Me"? Or did VJ feel the need to "improve" it like Capitol?

Thanks for watching. From what I have researched, Vee-Jay did NOT add anything to the masters they received from Transglobal. And keep looking. Stereo copies of the “Version 2” can still be found for around $500, depending on condition. Version 1 copies are bit pricier.
