Join us as we travel through tales of a talking snowman, two grumpy guys, Santa, and many others. Our narrator’s patience wears thin, but each wrong story will bring us closer and closer until we are able to hear the real story of Christmas. Divine Mercy C...

Fr. Poggemeyer's Mass, Thursday the 9th Week of Ordinary Time
A. 1st off, I am old. At 72, I will be Lucky if I have another 15 or 20 years. Kinda sobering thought. So it is not so much about me but what I would want for all my sons and sons-in-law. Story of the Bridge builder and the hard to cross stream (not in my lifetime; Poem Follows). B. Key thoughts, I Shared this homily of Father Poggemeyer's with my 7 children. One of my daughters asked me what I got out of it and how I will apply it in my life. 1. Some things are bigger than ourselves and require much sacrifice (everyday Life)..2. There is No Price to High to Pay for what is essential in life (Jesus Christ on the Cross for our Salvation)3.We have a Loving Father, Jesus Christ in the Holy Trinity. We have an obligation to follow His example.4. Our beliefs and convictions can be powerful, even if they are contrary to what our culture presents (Centurion was a non-believer, a Roman; at best a skeptic, at worst a persecutor). And yet he traveled over a day's journey to solicit the help of Jesus on the Chance that his son might be saved.5. As Father's. do we acknowledge and DEMONSTRATE that knowledge and Faith with our actions.(Do our children Know that it can provide a Full life, can heal what ails us, body or spirit)7. Silence (about our Faith in Jesus Christ in our homes) can be Deafening.8 And Sharing about our close and dependent relationship with the Blessed Virgin Mary, the closest intercessor to Jesus (10 Hail Mary's for each Our Father in the Rosary : )))9 Jesus IS the Answer. Do we Share that with our children? Thank-you Father Poggemeyer. The Bridge Builder By Will Allen Dromgoole An old man going a lone highway, Came, at the evening cold and gray, To a chasm vast and deep and wide. Through which was flowing a sullen tide The old man crossed in the twilight dim, The sullen stream had no fear for him; But he turned when safe on the other side And built a bridge to span the tide. “Old man,” said a fellow pilgrim near, “You are wasting your strength with building here; Your journey will end with the ending day, You never again will pass this way; You’ve crossed the chasm, deep and wide, Why build this bridge at evening tide?” The builder lifted his old gray head; “Good friend, in the path I have come,” he said, “There followed after me to-day A youth whose feet must pass this way. This chasm that has been as naught to me To that fair-haired youth may a pitfall be; He, too, must cross in the twilight dim; Good friend, I am building this bridge for him!”
Yesterday, Father Poggemeyer Posted the Stations of the Cross for our Lenten Journey. It can be viewed on this Link. Thank-you Father. ua-cam.com/video/EYCfGdA3CdI/v-deo.html
The 8th Station of the Cross, Jesus tells the Women; "Weep not for me but for your Children" (Born and Unborn).
Since we are Commenting on this Post, I will use the opportunity to add this Tribute to St. Joseph, Patron Saint of Families and of a Happy Death. Appropriate for Father Poggemeyer, Paulding Church, myself and so many others. It is Beautiful. I especially Love the portion at the 2 min. 57 sec. Marker. God Bless you and yours. ua-cam.com/video/HwsQf02phgw/v-deo.html
St. Joseph's Feast Day was March 19; a moment for Our Times.
Crusade Prayer (7) Prayer for those who refuse Mercy Jesus, I urge You to forgive those sinners, so dark of soul, who will refuse the Light of Your Mercy. Forgive them, Jesus, I plead with You, in order to redeem them from the sins, which they find it so difficult to extract themselves from. Flood their hearts with Your Rays of Mercy and allow them the chance to return to Your fold. Amen. Crusade Prayer (8) The Confession Dearest Jesus, I ask your pardon for all my sins and for the hurt and injury I have caused to others. I humbly pray for the graces to avoid offending You again and to offer penance according to your Most Holy Will. I plead for the forgiveness of any future offense, which I may partake in and which will cause you pain and suffering. Take me with you into the new Era of Peace, so that I may become part of Your family for eternity. I love You, Jesus. I need You. I honour You and everything You stand for. Help me, Jesus, so that I may be worthy to enter Your Kingdom. Amen.
Thank you, Father Poggemeyer, for your priesthood and this reverent sacrifice. God Bless the remainder of your sabbath.
Thank you for the daily mass Fr Pogg! We need it now more than ever!
