hello! today's video is all about buying a chanel classic flap handbag. as we know, this is a timeless style that's been around for decades as a symbol of fashion and luxury. when karl lagerfeld was hired for chanel in the 1980's, he reimagined coco chanel's original handbag and designed the classic double flap we see today. i've always appreciated chanel as an iconic brand, and I cant wait to share my experience finding the perfect bag!
for reference: the classic flap in medium retails for $6800 and the small retails for $6200. preloved and vintage pieces average between $3000-$5000 based on condition and year.

Bottega Veneta.....my newest obsession. these boots are so comfortable and versatile, definitely my new go-to. i think this color way is especially great since there’s black and brown tones which makes them super easy to match anything. i highly recommend getting a pair of chunky boots since they’re durable, trendy, and basically amazing. Is this what chanel bags look when they age? The quilts become completely flat? Someone explain lol
mine are actually still pretty pillowy for the age, but with time and wear they do flatten out… having the gold plated and higher quality leather and stitching was more important to me than having super puffy quilting from the store

i got mine from what goes around comes around beverly hills. but the boutique was south coast plaza that had the ones i tried on! commonly there’s a waitlist but usually it’s not too bad

i hadn’t noticed that, it’s such a small detail that’s just part of the fabric being nylon as opposed to a stiffer leather or something :)
I always get my bag from aliexpress but i never liked that quality , someone introduced andyfactory.su and i read all their reviews on google and decided to give it a try and since then i have been buying from there and their bags quality is amazing , just sharing incase you are also tired less quality bags from aliexpress .
personally i always buy mine directly from the designers, so i haven’t had experience ordering a fake

i’m 5’2! the bag falls with a pretty good amount of room under my arm but if i wore something thick then it might be a little harder to pull on and off so it depends on your climate too but i think it’s a great year round bag :)

i think for a designer handbag it’s a really good price, from LV a similar style in canvas/non-leather is about the same price. prada is known for their durability and nylon fabric and it’s a perfect everyday piece!

not really! they have the pull tabs which help but honestly they’re not difficult at all

@@ithinkitsred i sized up 1/2 a size since it’s a boot and i wear thicker socks with it. maybe try them on if you can before purchasing to make sure they’re the right fit, everyone’s feet are different so it’s hard to know which size would be best for you until you try them in person

i took a 2 in the regular length! they’re a bit long but i like the way they hang over boots and sneakers :)
