I remember being 15 and having my head blown by this performance, made me feel things in ways i didn't knew music could, i even adopted the xo logo because of that, i eventually stopped listening to the Weeknd un such an obsessive manner, listening to new artists and experimenting with all kinds of music. I revisited thinking this wasn't going to be that good and I'm wrong, this is impressive by all kinds of measure, the way this piece of art touched me can only be compared with certain parts of other songs that are now my favorite. The way he expresses... I can feel the jealousness of 15yr old me because he was able to drown his pain in sex and drugs, thing that made me mad since i never could and still feel this someway whenever i revisit this. Incredibly raw, beautiful and refreshing. I'm not versed by any means in singing but that thing he does at "bring your body baby could bring you fame" is still a mystery for me, the way he sings this particular performance is so unique, he has never performed like this since then XO
