I'm Dani Marie AUC (Albinism Up Close), and I have albinism and am legally blind. I share about my life with albinism and as a legally blind person to create awareness about those communities. I share lifestyle content from my unique perspective as a blind person. I love cooking, technology, music, gaming, and people.
I am also a songwriter and lover of music. It feeds my soul.
I have a Master's degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling, so I'll be sharing from that perspective as well.

I had one of those lights I recommend not using them in the rain that's how they die
I love that they did kong because one of the main characters is deaf! Kong also uses sign language in the movie! Love the inclusion!
It is cool! I makes me want to try and find my bestie from highschool that has done ASL professionally for several years now. I miss her so much. ❤
Yay! ...and hugs for all we didn't know you were going through. ...and the joy of these good things. Celebration 🎉
I am registered blind and I just invested in a gaming wheel a Logitech G29 to play American Truck simulator. Not sure how to best mount my 32 inch tv with the wheel in the way. I think the best way is to mount the TV on a vesa arm
I love Ambutech white cane products I wish they but weren't so expensive though.
How do you measure for a cane
The general idea is that it should be able to reach two steps in front of you while you use it. That equates to a length that can be up to your armpit or chin generally.
I have it to your so pretty i love seeing others that have albinsm like me
Looks great!
I wish i was dead
I love your hair
Sorry to ask but what is the missing limb?
Think you are beautiful
Is your comprehension better in brillo দ্যান in audiobooks.দ্যান you for this channel
I don't mean die y'all don't deserve to die
eww dissapear already
I also love your video and the different white canes and their different colors. My white cane that is white and red with either a white or red roller ball came tip that I use daily due to me being visually impaired or partially impaired with limited vision that has gotten worse then stabilized and with ongoing vision or eyesight problems
Nice blue and white cane with a roller ball cane tip
My white cane is a carbide and I can fold it up but I find it hard to fold it so I just keep it upright in my coat closet because I have arthritis so it hurts my hands and wrists to try to fold it up.The cord broke where the protector used to be and I am going to buy a velcroe strap to keep my white cane folded up
Hi dani marie,I am also visually impaired,or partually sighted with limited vision and I use a white cane with a red roller ball cane tip that is in bad shape and ready to be replaced soon,I go through a lot of cane tips because I use my white cane daily
Dani Marie I love and enjoy watching your video
Hi Dani Marie,I am visually impaired with limited vision and I have been using my white came since I was 19 years old and today April 1st I just turned 59,I have had O&m mobility lessons off and on with my cnib instructor whenever I move into a new area that I don't know and I get lost.I memorize landmarks and I am independent with some help when I need it
Promo`SM 😔
:)
Also - "canned air" isn't actually air. It can be a variety of things, from refrigerants similar to those used in fridges (and therefore not great for the environment), to flammable gasses, like butane. So, it's not great in general.
I have some areas that are hard to keep up with on the dust. I keep trying to get the more obvious ones expecting some inspection randomly. Meanwhile I have a project for my new aerator if I can get it back off the faucet. I have a drill. Just not that neat little vacuum type duster. ...yet. :)
VD: Dani talks to the camera holding an electronic duster, clips show her PC under her desk with a mess of cables, a dusty white PC interior, her coming toward the camera with the duster, a cleaner PC, and the PC back under the desk with a mess of cables in an under desk organizer.
😊
Couldn’t tell if this was a man or woman
VD: A clip shows mountains on a roadside covered in fog with tree tops peaking through. A second clip shows Dani with the same background. Text says: when the mountains are pure magic.
I have had one for about three months now and find it extremely useful not just for drinks, but I also use it when I have small items I put down on the counter in the kitchen. I can put them in it for the contrast and I can find it without having to feel all over the counter to find out where things went. I also use it in restaurants for when you given a clear glass drink I put it in the optic coaster, and I don’t spill it on the table in the restaurant
Using it in the kitchen like that is so smart! Thanks for sharing that!
Can now use wine glasses again🍷
VD: Clips show a walk through a bamboo field, a field of yellow flowers, and a koi pond. Text says: find a friend you can walk through nature with.
Sounds nice. Was there a smooth touch pad lock code situation? ...or a bonafide key?
This one has a key! You had to use a code to get in the building, but once you did, you had a physical key and one of those NFC tags for the building entrance. The keypad was not a touch pad thankfully.
Not in my house
Big grin smiley! Hockey & music! 💖💕🌸🙌🏻
It's been a while since you made this! Do you find you likes the graphite one better then aluminum? I'm getting ready to order a new white cane and I'm debating the graphite for the weight aspect! Do you like it?!
I do prefer the lighter weight of the graphic better for sure! It's still going strong and has been to Seattle twice with me on multiple flights plus a few other trips.
VD: Dani smiles and sings along as she pans the camera to show some of the crowd singing to Taylor Swift. Text says: Didn't expect that at the hockey game.
I like a good cup holder. 😊Now if I could eventually take back my table top, which the entire pantry is currently holding. I might also like it to hold my phone within the ridge, so it doesn't vibrate off the counter top of my nearest workspace ledge.
VD: Dani talks to the camera holding a bright green coaster. Clips to music show her setting different drinks onto the coaster. Text at the end says: use code DaniMarieAUC to save 15%
VD: a view shows Dani at her desk picking up a cup from a bright green coaster and setting several cups down as her outfit changes. A clip at the end shows a cup with the Optic Coaster propped next to it and text that says: Review Tomorrow!
VD: Dani talks to the camera and holds up a clear bag held shut with rainbow tape.
VD: Dani talks to the camera and shows off a folding cane and monocular as she talks. A clip shows a sign on the floor and one hanging in an airport.
VD: Dani talks to the camera and the ball tip of her folding cane falls and hits the stem of her glass as she looks shocked.
VD: Dani talks to the camera holding her folded cane with a ball tip. The ball tip comes down to hit the stem of the glass she's holding and breaks it. We see this twice and then slowed down as she has a shocked look.
😂
❤support! I enjoy your channel. I grew up in a gradeschool class full of us. This makes my struggle so much easier. Looking forward to welcoming you back.
Aw thank you! Glad to hear you had support of others around you growing up!
😂 haphappens to the best of us, but you got it on video!! So take it as the positive.
What happened? Did something break? 😯 ...or just spill? This is me always trying to figure out what happened when I hear a thing. I kinda freeze and then explore. 😶🤔eek!
Had to watch this 3 times with someone who has better eyes, but the cane knocked the stem of the wine glass off.
@@Husky848y Oh wow! That would freak me out too if that just happened. That's the wild part when you expect more shatter possibly but there's just that one thing. I couldn't hear anything liquid wise, but would guess there was a sharp end somewhere, suddenly. Did it leave a sharp end?
Sorry about that. It was pretty much out of frame and the description was in the video description. I forget those aren't super accessible on shorts. I will try to add the descriptions as a comment. But yeah, the ball of my folded cane came down and hit the stem of a stemmed glass and broke it. It was so unexpected!
It just broke the stem, so the glass with water in it was unaffected. The pieces weren't too sharp thankfully, but that wasn't really visible in the video

Good Lord woman do you have a tin roof? Those are great acoustics for a nap.
