Morning in Belize || Nature Inspired Ambient Soundscape for Relaxation
Переглядів 622Рік тому
An ambient soundscape that is based on a field recording I collected in Belize at the location where this photo was taken (just outside Belmopan). This was created using Ableton Live 11's generative tools, particularly the Inspired by Nature Pack. I left this running for about an hour and a half for people who wish to use this for sleep, work, relaxation, meditation, etc. My previous video wher...

Financial District || Downtempo (Original)
Переглядів 143Рік тому
I came up with the bass line during a run, and then built the track from there. I had Ageispolis by Aphex Twin and Kaini Industries by Boards of Canada in mind while making this. I feel like it's short and that it's missing something, but I feel like it's time to move on to something new. Made almost entirely with stock Ableton 11 sounds and instruments. Photo is the skyline of Midtown Atlanta,...
Victory Lap || Synthwave (Original)
Переглядів 108Рік тому
This year I'm trying to focus more on learning to write and produce original music. I made this largely to apply what I've learned about synthesis from Syntorial. For this track, I imagined what music would play when you win a race in a forgotten Super Nintendo racing game. The picture is AI-generated using DALL-E. The synth sounds were all made using stock Ableton 11 instruments/effects and we...

great video mate ...do you share the project files?
I am making a guided meditation that I would like to upload to UA-cam for free, may I use this as my background music royalty free?
Sure, go for it.
Love it ! Do you offer coaching

Thanks for the zelda song with the flute sound 🙏
Man this was amazing and convincing and nicely narrates. Opened my eyes today. Im back to making music again, and this is just what I needed
gonna need a sequel with a wetness knob next
thanks for the cool vid...
Hello there and friendly greetings! Great tutorial! Thank you for sharing!
we wouldn't want to add stereo width because "that would be ridiculous"
careful with that dry/wet mix now
wow this sounds great ! need to check this out, didn't. even know it was included in my ableton 12 live suite ! The track is really soothing too !
Thank you very much!
Thanks! What are you doing to play the notes?
1234543 "Cyberpunk xxx ambient xxx" are poping everyday on youtube, all the same sounds, same AI video ... same boring music, thanks to this vst
Great
Sounds gorgeous
Modular is far from “unnecessarily difficult” it’s exactly as difficult as it needs to be in order to allow for the amount of possibilities that modular allows for. If it were full of kind of pre-wired things that are like commonly done or that cater to common techniques then it wouldn’t have the flexibility that modular has and that’s where the beauty and excitement of modular exist.
its free??
its free?
Great job, thanks!
Brilliant!!! Love how I sound 🤣🤣🤣
Beautiful work. Inspiring. Thank you! Look forward to more….
Really interesting and inspiring. Could you share what foot controller you're using?
Thanks - the foot pedal I use is a Nektar Pacer. It's very solidly built and integrates with Ableton very easily.
@@drbrownmusic Thanks!
This was great, thx. Pigments truly is an amazing synth (even more so with the new version 5), and you did a thorough job of explaining everything in a way that's easy for folks to follow. Looking forward to seeing more of your videos 🙂
great vid
thanks man great tutorial
This is truly a gem of generative Ambient here o UA-cam ! Very nicely done and inspiring, Bravo! It’s a shame that I see just only one comment and 12 likes here. This is a very beautiful peace of music and I’m looking forward for some new creations. Subscribed… 😊
Great video that has helped me to understand sound design and expand my use of Pigments. Thank you for sharing your expertise!
Reminds me of Thomas Koner's work. At least the type of work he did when I listened to him. Nice video, thanks
Finally I understand so much more. I like Your teaching style.. I will stick to Ableton stock Instruments. I followed and made all the Sounds. In my age I keep forgetting. 🙂Thank You
This was Awesome Sauce ! I absolutely loved every second, Thank you thank you thank you !
Inspiring ... have to have my hands on this ... subdcibed.
Super helpful, yes! Cool to see the approaches with both synths!
I am so glad I found this, I went through a lot of videos and only this one showed me just what I needed. Can't wait to check out your other vids. Thank you so much!!
Fantastic tutorial, thank you! I'll definitely re-create this sound.
I need a label to release this - ua-cam.com/play/PLsYWGya6x-CZnmkTD9zG0fz1bdAV7-96o.html
Its honestly amazing the amount of sounds you can make with this single instrument that sound AMAZING. And the fact that they made it free is something else. Good on Ableton :) Having fun with this one.
Nice video! Is the FX Rack 'Ambient Guitar FX' the same rack on all 6 loop tracks and you're just adjusting the mix amounts on each to taste? Going to run my cello through this once I get rid of this annoying cough.
I believe the rack was exactly the same on all tracks, with the exception of the gate sequence on the trance gate being different on each one.
It would be amazing if you could make a tutorial about this song 😇
Beautiful. Do you have spotify?
Great video, thanks! Pigments rules!
Love your opening words and as a lover and follower and maker of generative music myself I found your video very helpful in the way it stirred my creative soup pot some more and ready to try a few things that are new. Thanks. I have a site here with examples if you're interested. cheers.
Excelente tutorial muchas gracias
De nada. Me alegro que creas que este vídeo es util.
That’s a wonderful video. Thank you for taking the time and delivering it, attentively. ✨🌱 I wish there was a shared template! 🙏
Great explanation, thanks.
Thanks, very helpful!
really great intuitive video. learned a lot about a lot of new plugins that are going to help me create some creative atmospheres. felt like you constantly were saying how simple each plugin was but their organic tones are really what brings this kind of thing to life. sometimes having control over everything isn't everything. thank you so much for the video man :)
@1:09 is priceless 😂 ROTF
looks sick, nice review !
