Maybe but I learned decades ago with a slip knot 🤷🏼‍♀️ it was only recently that I learned this trick, it’s so much easier!

You are absolutely welcome to use circular needles. Personally, I learned on double pointed needles so they are just more familiar to me. I’ve tried using circular needles but I hate them lol and don’t actually own any at the moment 😅

You can browse all of my patterns here: www.ravelry.com/stores/wonderful-woodlands I believe this leaf is the same as or very similar to the one I used in the apple beanie hat pattern.

@wonderfulwoodlandsknitting I ended up pausing every 2 seconds and writing it down by hand 😄 I have a "berry" beanie that I make for my friends' newborns, so I added the leaf to the end of the stem, and everyone loves them.

I’ve been trying to “get this” method for a few months…it was so awkward talking about sling shots and slip knots. I don’t know if it was your camera angles or simplicity of instructions but I immediately got it and it made sense. Thank you, thank you, thank you! I just subscribed!
