Booked a 4 night stay room last Monday to today. First night kept wake until 4 am by a lovely welsh family having a fire pit and drunken party outside my bedroom window. I was with an adult disabled daughter in a comfort 3 bed chalet. It was clean but had problems with no shower cord and no disabled parking. The second night she was kept awake by drunken youths swearing….her pet hate. The third day she refused to go out of the chalet and we came home early. Never ever again. Horrible place.

i’m a teenager going to butlins in august and reading the comments on what teens are like nowadays don’t surprise me. i won’t be surprised if i try to sleep at night and all i hear is banging from above us or next door to us. teens at my school as young as 13 smoke and vape. it’s ridiculous and their parents don’t do anything. i was raised well by my mum and dad showing me that smoking or vaping is wrong. i generally feel sorry for these parents in the comments. i rlly do apologise on what the majority of us are like.

Came across your video by chance after just returning from our family holiday, taking our 19 month old on his first holiday and we had a pretty dreadful experience with our accommodation too. We paid quite a considerable amount for a Seaside Apartment expecting a bit more of a premium experience having spoken to friends/family who have gone for the more basic accommodation but boy were we let down. Kitchen was filthy when we arrived, a smashed cup in the cupboard showing they clearly never checked or cleaned anything in there prior to us arriving, dirt/sand/bits all over the wood flooring which could easily be avoided with a quick hoover/wipe down! Piles of dust undeneath the beds as well as tags from cuddly toys, and bottle tops which my little one could've easily got hold of. Living room sofas were all stained, the patio area was covered in bird muck, and the railings all rusty and orange. Beds creaked the moment you simply moved a duvet, yet alone got into them and tried to sleep. One slight movement in the night sounded horrendous. Throw in a bunch of rowdy bunch above us, of what sounded like a group of teenagers, coming in and out throughout the night, slamming doors, moving beds/sofas around, and it was just terrible. Butlins couldnt/wouldnt do a thing

It doesn’t matter if you paid £1 or £1000 - that accommodation is disgusting. Fair enough if it’s a budget price then you expect a basic standard in terms of the decor and facilities, but there’s no excuse for lack of cleaning.

We stayed there decades ago when our 3 were small. Kept awake ALL night with partying teenagers next door.....even though we were told only family groups could book. My son is there now (May 2022)....and, incredibly, was kept awake ALL night by drunken teenagers next door. When we complained way back then we were told nothing could be done at the time, but I wouldn`t leave it at that and kept writing when we got home. eventually got a free weekend break -- which luckily was fine. You must complain and keep copies of all correspondence.

We to Minehead on 11 April, had a disabled adapted chalet, in pacific warf, was a nice size but basic, found a bit of rubbish under the sofa, but the bathroom was soaking wet from water leaking from the toilet,someone fixed it straight away, but when we got back to the room later water was there again😡 it took till 10 pm to get it fixed they also had to suck water out of the carpet, standards have fallen massively over the last few years and we are not sure if we will ever go back. Sad really because we have been going there for over 20 years 😔

We just got back from Bognor from easter weekend and stayed in a Silver Room for £527, the room was clean but the bedside cabinets had the plastic sticking out which caused the wife to cut her hand and it was also sticking out which was right on the side of the daughters bed by her head. Then we were also missing one cabinet by the double bed. Holes in doors and random brackets screwed into the walls. The cheaper rooms these days are having no money spent on them and the money they pull in there is no excuse. We stayed in the Gold apartments in Minehead last October and that was stinking, blood spots on the wall same as you had things under the bed and just manky. We are going again in June and have a Seaside Apartment so we'll see how that is. Hopefully other than your room issues your family had a fantastic time.
