Life Cycle Assessment of Electric Vehicles - Part 2
There is international consensus that the improvement of the sustainability of EVs can only be analysed based on life cycle assessment (LCA). This includes the production, the operation, and the end of life (EoL) management of the vehicles and the fuel cycle.
To make electric vehicles as sustainable as possible the whole life cycle of the car must be considered. There is international consensus that the improvement of the sustainability of EVs can only be analysed based on life cycle assessment (LCA).
This includes every stage from the extraction of raw materials, manufacturing, usage, and maintenance, to the final disposal.

If that's Brian Bellman from the KRH, you've got an evil bastard there.
I saw your product is being used or at least tested by Orange....as a previous owner of an Orange E bike with Shimano motor....Because id not been wanrned and im a heavy guy i ruined the chain and rear cassette in 80 miles from new......next one i used the gears more and it was ok....but i didnt do many miles before selling it....luckily it had old firmware so i could increase the speed limit....as 15.5 is simply too slow....especially when all your fitter mates ride easily at 17-18. My advice would be to make it not too hard for people to find ways to add throttle control and change region speed limits etc.......let people decide for themselves if they want to break the law rather than locking your product down into a worse version.....sure have legal modes and default settings.....but also remember people have private land or take bikes to places where our draconian limits arent imposed.....im sure a bigger market than you would think. I personally love Orange bikes, had 5, and would love to buy another E bike.....but i wont until i know i can make it fun to use on private land. Hope your company wants to support all legal uses not just the road legal ones Good luck with your venture, i wish you the best of luck
