In addition, the spool has a feature which allows the easy installation of 2 line clips for marking the fishing distance and accurate casting.
Crafted from aerospace-grade aluminum and premium materials, Yasaki Surf Spools are engineered to deliver exceptional lightness and mechanical strength. Designed with a conical profile and micro-pitch, these spools ensure perfect line lay and a special geometry for minimal line friction, resulting in exceptional casting distance.

i have a queation.i have a shimano surf leader 30 dont have drag.what spool i can pair to have a drag on my reel?
You have first to change the shaft to the one of Surf Leader SD 30, then you can install Drag Spool and Drag knob of SL SD30 or Bulls eye 5050/5080.

The purpose of the upgrade is to gain lightness and add ball bearing in critical places such as the line roller. The Bailless Kit allows more freedom in line management. Now in competition, 4.3 ratio is largely used for dynamic fishing action, if you fish heavy, 3.5 ratio will be more suitable. So in the end, it is relative, I cannot say one ratio is better than the other.
