Hi, my name is Benjamin Boo, I'm the Percussion Principal of Singapore Chinese Orchestra, Ensemble Principal of Reverberance Ltd., also an Artist of Innovative Percussion and Pantheon Percussion. I'll like to thank Music Elements, Shane Heng and Danny for their help and support in making this pet project of mine so successful and beautiful. The Final Piece that I played for my BMus (Hons) Graduation Recital. The Final Precipice was composed in the spring of 1993. It was written out of the composer's interest in creating a work for acoustic percussion and computer generated soundscapes. As a timpanist, Jeff felt the need to contribute to the amount of repertoire for the instrument, and this composition was the result.
