Come on, man. The WNBA cannot afford to pay her accordingly to her value. They've yet to even break bank on their tenure. If she was in it for the money, she'd have tried other aspects and probably never even agreed to the WNBA. Instead, she just wants to play basketball. She doesn't seem at all interested in the conversations and all the media, and often seems like interested in going through it. Just wants to play and improve herself. In her interviews, she always says that she dreamed of playing USA basketball and playing in the WNBA--and that's really all she's interested in. She's got wealth in her family, and endorsements. But she's just doing it for her dreams. Eventually, I am sure they'll pay more. But right now they just cannot afford it.
