Good morning everyone. Excited to see what you got. I recently got a NJ box.

Thanks for sharing! Elgin is an old maker of good watches. They were on the NY stock exchange in late 60's. I was in high school and had to follow a chosen company in economics class. I chose Elgin and made money. In pretend investing, LOL. Quartz generally means takes battery. The most stunning art I have seen was a motorcycle made of the inner workings of watches. So many beautiful springs and circles. From a distance it looked so real, but up close it was fascinating! I always wanted to try a Christmas tree. Good luck! The most desired are Swiss Movement. Higher quality, not as mass made.

A lot of people use watch faces in jewelry art. You may could separate the ones not worth fixing into a watch face lot for crafters.

That was interesting! Especially since I have a box full of watches I’ve been meaning to go through and mean to do it today or tomorrow, lol! The bracelet you found in that box most likely belongs to a matching watch. Back in the late 90’s, early 2000’s, they sold pretty bracelet watches with matching bracelets. That being said, I’m done with Blue Boxes. They keep sending boxes from Greensboro NC and those contain nothing but low end plastic beads and junky jewelry. I even emailed Goodwill and told them there was nothing but junk coming out of Greensboro. Looking forward to your next video!

Im so happy to see you do this. I bought one about 4 months ago and thought not worth it but then realized all I needed to do was buy a watch kit on Amazon to put batteries in. Going to make good money on the box turns out.

Wow! That Russian egg, though! I love that! And topped off with a Tiffany earring! Interesting box! My box this week, not so much. I’ve been getting boxes from Greensboro, NC. No more gold or silver anymore. I’m not ordering any more Blue Boxes. The boxes I get are not bad, but they’re disappointing compared to Dayton, OH boxes.

The flower jewelry reminds me of my childhood. But from the 70’s. Everything comes back around.
