How do I avoid wrinkles? I can see in your demonstration wrinkles forming along the sides of your mold too. When I pull the wet molds a part I find wavy wrinkles have dried and it looks really bad.

Question: I am currently making a pattern for a messenger bag. I want to do a magnetic closure like this. If I am to put a handle on the messenger bag, will the magnets be a fault point. (If it helps, it’s calfskin and I plan on doubling up.

I just ordered one of these tools on Amazon. I need it to remove the teeth on the zipper on the back pockets of a pair of shorts. I never zip the pockets close and the teeth are really rough on my fingers when trying to reach into my back pockets for my phone or wallet. I have no idea why the manufacturer thought it was a good idea to have a back pocket that zips close with metal zipper teeth.

Greetings Buckle Guy! Do you find that the shorter strap cutter is easier to maintain constant width without too much attention (tension) being applied? Bought the buckle guy wooden strap cutter. Head will not tighten down on base. Slips after cutting about 2 inches and widens the strip. Sent email to buckle guy. Still haven't heard back from them. I'll stick to a knife that works. Maybe I just got a bum one, but no communication back stinks.

I have two questions: 1. Can you do a video that shows what the assembly will (actually) be like for a customer receiving this? Weaver has a similar press that comes assembled. Looks very heavy. I'd like to see what the level of effort is. 2. When using this for embossing or pressing the wet molds - do you have to leave it in the down position for any period of time, or is it "click and go" just like cutting? looking forward to your response. the 12 ton option is very interesting to me.
