Three tips for if you continue the randomizer: If you see torches next to a door, thats a boss level, you need to defeat the boss to actually make meaningful progress Dont stop to think about things, i know it sounds dumb, but if you just roll with the punches and only try to get to the end of the level, you will die a small bit less Break pots, although it's pretty risky, you can get things like vlads cape or a plasma cannon

You should play spelunky HD, it's a lot shorter than the spelunky 2 because no cosmic ocean but the hard ending is still pretty difficult.

Oh you should watch the video of the first time anyone ever made it to the eggplant world. It was a guy called Hectique, he has an edited version of that run and I think he has the full run on YT as well. There are a lot of great moments from the first month the game was out, back when nobody knew all the secrets, there were no wiki articles, and there was no PC version so nobody had pulled it apart yet. I think at least one person did accomplish 7-99 in that first month.

Is that 30 hours to get those last few achievements in this video, or 30 hours of playtime overall? It's gotta be the former right? Because if it's the latter, that's FAST.

My strategy: rob shop, and KILL shopkeep at 1-2 and 1-3, and collect the eye. get kapala asap, go jungle frick 7 shopkeepers up in blackmarket and "borrow" their sazzling items. get bow. get ankh. Jetpack and ropes? go temple for elixir and to a jetpack qilin skip. got climbing colves with jetpack and ropes? place ropes down the abyss on 5-1, refuel jetty, and fly 1 block offscreen down and look for an backlayer entrance. get the plasma. get 7 heart attacks with spark traps on neo babylon. place ropes at the lasers and fly up. get arrow and sack or stuff. frick walking egg hundun and shoot arrow in the eye. pop 3 orbs and go to exit. repeat 93 times.

Score-chasers will go through Duat EXCLUSIVELY to make a crapton of cash via the City. Folks who like to clear the Daily Challenge for cash will take the Duat path if they're feeling bold and brash. Of course, it has some pretty major downsides. - You lose whatever you had equipped, like Vlad's Cape or a Shotgun. You do get a free jetpack from Anubis-2, but nothing special. - You lose the ankh and get nothing in exchange. You can't perform any glitch that lets you keep the ankh before this. Overall, the Duat path is a much harder path for those who seek naught but glory.

every level you complete with a hired hand they trust you more allowing you to whip them more before they become mad, hold them longer before they jump out of your hands, and sleep longer (pressing down and dropping him carefully) they can also hold items while sleeping by dropping them off of a small ledge. A hired hand gives you full trust after 4 levels
