Disconnect battery wait seconds. If that fails (make sure you have an antistatic ESD wristband, disconnect the unit's power plug (you would need to remove the unit from you dash in order to reach the power plug. If this fails while the unit is moved from the dash disconnect all cable interfaces, next locate the unit's cover screws, remove the cover screws, remove the cover, then locate on the circuit board a rest button (must requires you use a tip of pen or similar). Hope one of these helps. You could also contacted Alpine explain the symptoms they should have a fix. You could also (using a memory USB fab) down load/save the latest software update for your unit and attempt to perform an update.

Update on the stereo I sent it out to alpine and they replaced it I had to pay shipping fees but they sent it back and everything is good now. This was a little while ago but I forgot I had posted this video thank you everyone hope it helped

Mine does it when it’s hot outside. It will boot up but no audio out, I’m switching out with a JVC kw-788bh

I did the latest firmware update on mine a while back. I got a dark screen and buttons flash every few seconds. Called alpine and they did a one time replacement on it.

If you plug in your phone will that boot it up? Mine will turn on if I plug something in
