b. The mother of the Child will be and was a virgin.
Isaiah 7:14 says: “Therefore the Lord himself shall give you a sign; Behold, a virgin shall conceive, and bear a son, and shall call his name Immanuel.”
c. This prophetic statement was carried out dramatically in Matthew 1:18-25.
d. This prophetic statement is the most controversial and attacked topic in history.
The devil tried to prevent it from happening in Genesis 6
Pharoah tried to prevent it from happening in Exodus 1:16-17
Herold tried to prevent it from happening in Matthew 2:16-23
Even after His departure, Satan still downplay this account religiously by giving us false narratives.

Point Two | Unto Us a Son is given.
Isaiah 9:6b. says: “Unto us a Son is given”
In between when the Child was born and given, He became a worthy Son and was eventually given. This account led to the focus of Easter observation and celebration.
John 3:16 says: “For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.”
John 12:32 says: “And I, if I be lifted up from the earth, will draw all men unto me.
John 19:30 says: “When Jesus therefore had received the vinegar, he said, It is finished: and he bowed his head, and gave up the ghost.”
Point Three | The Reason for the Season
As the “us” in this passage, we need to take a deep observation and understand the focus for this season. That is why a Child was born and a Son given unto us? Jesus the reason for the season.

Luke 2:8-15 says: “And there were in the same country shepherds abiding in the field, keeping watch over their flock by night. And, lo, the angel of the Lord came upon them, and the glory of the Lord shone round about them: and they were sore afraid. And the angel said unto them, Fear not: for, behold, I bring you good tidings of great joy, which shall be to all people. For unto you is born this day in the city of David a Saviour, which is Christ the Lord. And this shall be a sign unto you; Ye shall find the babe wrapped in swaddling clothes, lying in a manger. And suddenly there was with the angel a multitude of the heavenly host praising God, and saying, Glory to God in the highest, and on earth peace, good will toward men. And it came to pass, as the angels were gone away from them into heaven, the shepherds said one to another, Let us now go even unto Bethlehem, and see this thing which is come to pass, which the Lord hath made known unto us. “
e. It is for the redemption of the earth and all that is related to it.
Revelation 5:7-10 says: “And he came and took the book out of the right hand of him that sat upon the throne. And when he had taken the book, the four beasts and four and twenty elders fell down before the Lamb, having every one of them harps, and golden vials full of odours, which are the prayers of saints. And they sung a new song, saying, Thou art worthy to take the book, and to open the seals thereof: for thou wast slain, and hast redeemed us to God by thy blood out of every kindred, and tongue, and people, and nation; And hast made us unto our God kings and priests: and we shall reign on the earth.”
