Pro tip on ambushes: Set up an L-Shape ambush at a corner on the road. Place machineguns facing the front of the convoy, they will be able to establish enfilading fire through the target and quickly take out gunners/dismounting infantry. (this will be your support-by-fire, the will remain in this position and pull security during the assault) Place anti-tank assets to a flank of the convoy to maximize visibility for your anti-tank assets to prioritize their targets on the biggest and most well armored threats. (This will be your assaulting element) As a final touch to prep your L-shape ambush, set up near side and far side security using your designated marksmen at opposing ends of the L-shape. In the case of Antistasi, being part of a rebellion that can go “Undercover”, it would be a good idea to have them stow away combat equipment and go undercover until the ambush is initiated. Use terrain to your advantage, try to place your assets at elevated positions overlooking the killbox. Initiate contact with your AT assets, eliminate the enemy in the killbox, and assault through. Collect intel, loot, and quickly get get off the X.

wait confused. so the convoy tips. step one go see the convoy. cool so Ive seen it leave the base now I need to do the rest of the steps in 2 mins to try and catch up to the convoy meaning look at it come out of the base, unsure of where its going but anyway run back to my base (5+ mins) set up a good ambush spot (5+ mins) hope they drive to that spot and get em! oh wait they are gone (the convoy event is done after setting up for 10+ mins after event started)

Do you use some kind of mod for AI in this video? I noticed that they act more reallistic here than in my game (Walking around, chatting with each other, sitting on objects, etc)

Great video! I’m only about 6 or 7 hours into my current game so far so this is very helpful!

I think the graphics look pretty good in this game. I just recently bought reforger.. and it's ok so far. But I'm more used to these style of graphics.. and it's better than Arma 2. Reminds me more of DayZ. I'm thinking of getting it as well.

tip for people, once you capture multiple resources and factories it produces so much money. spawn down two mortar teams. place them in two areas you choose, once they arrive and you have yourself in a spot to hide after recon. take control of those AI and use the mortars yourself its simple and you can hit exactly where you want them to hit. i hit every major base with two mortar teams and it helps so much when trying to conquer something. and once you get so far, take a break and let your money and other assets grow. on mine i have 4k HR and 200k money but i dont have many vehicles and i own over quarter of the map. focusing on just defending your points and work on taking down the outpost they use to attack yours. you can watch them retreat sometimes if you really watch great video brother

Another tip I have is that works for me personally, is that even in early game, to go straight for military locationd (medium size at most like the outposts), I find that it does take an experienced player, but it’s high risk, high reward. I usually get my guns unlocked within 10 hours of a playthrough by doing this

Thanks man, how do you remove items from rebel loadouts ? I don’t need my medic blowing up vehicles that I’m trying to steal. Also how do you get the AI out of the surface to air missiles and radars I can’t get them out every with out blowing it up completely

Why is the AI on your game looks so much more alive and doesnt look like a bot? mine is like they just there for me to kill, like standing in the middle of the road, staying on random spot making a line doing nothing, how to make it like yours?

Cool vid mate,picked up arma the other day in the steam sale. Got some good mods like 3cb,rhs,etc. I've got none of the dlc but can't find any servers to run it, any ideas?

Antistasi mod series have been my go-to singleplayer content when I play Arma 3, from the original to the Ultimate. I remembered there's a trick to give you a "boost", technically cheating, in arsenal when using the original mod. Playing alone is still enjoyable, but it's more better to play with another player. My preference playing with the ultimate version, is to set the enemy AI skill to the lowest and set their resources to the max, they would give away vehicles in firefight quite easy

I just started this game. I can never find any enemies unless I start a mission. I will roll into multiple cities and look around and find 0 enemies. No idea wtf is wrong with my game.

Was attacking an enemy Outpost the enemy brought me an ammo truck and got stuck in the base guess where it is now its in my garage😂

Stole some NVGs and some MX rifles with suppressors, and took my first outpost in the dead of night just sniping from the jungle trees. It was the most satisfying arma experience I've ever had
