Ii applied more than 3 weeks ago. My wife's Transit visa came 10 days ago. Same PNR and travel itinerary is mine but i am still waiting. Is it possible that they might delay my Transit visa for another 2 weeks ? That would mean my cancelling my whole trip.

I am a little confused as this is first time I see India not included in any mandatory requirement. Feel like pinching myself. Could you please confirm whether this is the correct website for this? I am Indian citizen planning to apply for transit visa from Mumbai, India. I could also not find any VFS Website for applying for biometric from India. Could you please check? What I basically understood from this website is that if the type of visa and the country of visa application are both mentioned on this website, then one needs to go for biometric. Surprisingly, New Zealand is mentioned on this website, but India is not mentioned. Does that mean that if I am Indian citizen applying for transit visa from New Zealand, then I need to go for biometric, but if I am Indian citizen applying for Australian transit visa from India, then I do not need biometric formality?
