2024 Cincinnati Region SCCA Todd Cholmondeley IT/SPEC*tacular Race Mid-Ohio. Sunday's on the Mid-Ohio 2.25 Pro-course. Started on the pole in class, 10th overall in mixed class racing. Led the first six laps, then landed in the gravel trap. Did the "faster" class car help to create the circumstances which led to this racing incident with the 2nd place car?

Going through 5 when you downshift from 6 to 4, do you give it a little gas when you are in 5th on the way down? It sounds like there's some throttle there but I can't tell for certain.

What do the hand singles mean? I know what the waves were for but the others during the straightaways?
axe chopping motion is bump draft, push me. the frantic open handed wave is stop or don't bump draft its time to brake for the turn.
