This guy is a true hero. In various parts of this segment, you can hear in his voice that he's emotional and passionate because he actually f***ing cares about people bettering themselves by reading, thinking critically and independently, and shunning the sheepish protesters and victom mentality. He has a beautiful mind because he is a beautiful human being. FACT.

I don’t think that having a lot of these people is part of the plans of global leaders. They don’t need or want thousands of people like this produced every year. Journalists have been replaced with commentators who use a script. Schools are just propaganda institutions. They don’t want a lot of educated thinking people anymore. They don’t need them for their work force. It no longer applies to the mission statement of educators, or the job descriptions of corporate America and public service.

Only 10 percent of all graduates can articulating their speech. It is difficult to be a good speaker, perhaps that is one of the weakness of the University that cannot produce graduates who are 100 percent good speakers.

The thing that’s happened to universities is they are trying to influence students politically.

I came here half expecting the usual clickbait, but that was honestly the greatest speech to students that I'm aware of. Awesome.

The most depressing thing is that he is applauded.... all the advice "read, learn how to think etc" he gave before evaporated : read, learn how to think and then you arrive to this ? " Embarrassing.. for the audience which did not challenge him and for Peterson who articulated this sentence with such great self-confidence....

I will watch this video evertime I feel unmotivated or I feel like I've lost my purpose in education. This video fills me with drive and reminds me the fun in education and true purpose, the challenge of going to a top college. Thank you, Mr. Peterson.
