I honestly think the lines from the lorax in biggering were so much better than 90% of his lines in the movie. "NOW LISTEN HERE IDIOT!" I so want to see him actually say that.

One thing that really grinds my gears is when people conflate Capitalism with Corporatism. Ever since corporations really began lobbying and pushing the government to change laws or relax certain regulations, we shifted from Capitalism to Corporatism. If you really want to get reductionist with the definition, Corporatism is essentially a kind of Deregulated Capitalism, when the Corpos are allowed to go whole-hog on raising that bottom line at any cost. The only thing that regulates Corporatism from driving the economy completely into the ground is outside interest groups, such as the Globalist group (there's only actually one and its very big and that's actually quite terrifying to realize) that wants to usher in their new world order where they rule on top, and their plans require some long-term thinking whereas Corporatism drives nations into the ground for immense short-term gains that let them rebuild the nation to benefit them and only them.

It’s interesting to think that This movie could’ve been like the original but instead had changes so from what I assume is “less scary” for the children at the time. Except when I was in kindergarten 2015 we watched the original Lorax and none of us were scared of it (from what I assume) most kids just laughed at how he lifted himself into the sky.

The thing with illumination is that They got some good people that somehow ended up in their studio But just like many companies like in this song, they don't care They can't go too far and take risk The thing that used to make disney unique was the fact they tooked risks The same for dreamworks And honestly dreamworks sometimes does things bad too but they have so many bangers And most of them were ridiculous Shrek yes, but come on Kung fu Panda Some guy came to them and was like: hey let's make a movie about a fat panda who dreams of fighting kung fu and is an orphan and was adopted by a bird and later this panda becomes by accident a legendary dragon warrior whatever that means and at the end they fight some cat with mental issues And dreamworks was like: that's frickin awsome, love it.
