Showed my uncle my entire Collection of Spyderco knives today and I showed them all my different steels even Rex 121 after everything I showed him. I whipped out this exact gonzo D2 and it’s the knife. I learned how to sharpen knives on it was affordable, but gonzo makes the best D2! Sharpened it on Japanese wet stones. I have a mirror polish edge on it, and it’s the sharpest knife in my entire collection. They could separate the top of your skin without cutting into you! He assumed it was one of my more expensive knives and then explained to him that it only cost me about $22. It was so affordable that I was worried to learn how to sharpen cause my expensive knives I would be too afraid to destroy them, but thanks to this gonzo I could get all my knives hair popping sharp! Oh my gonzo is hair whittling sharp so God bless this knife. Happy New Year’s and screw the asshole that said there’s nothing special about a gonzo!

I had returned a S35VN version due to it not being sharp! The new ownership of this company need to take note that when their old aus 8 are out sharpen the s35vn and this Magnacut, THERE IS A PROBLEM! too bad I would really like one in Magnacut if they are sharp!

This is a very um… interesting design let’s call it.

I bought this knife and I’m so impressed. If you hold this up to a Benchmade Bugout it’s almost identical in shape and size. The Nomad has a fuller you can use to flick open the knife and weighs about .35 ounces more then the aluminum Bugout. You can buy 2 of these knives instead of either a fiberglass or aluminum Bugout. I held this knife up to my carbon fiber S90V Bugout and I may be able to swap the blades. That’s how close the sizes are to each other. This knife is with every penny.

Thanks for the first impressions. I was looking for a video of the Asher Nomad before purchasing this very same model. The drop point with the satin hardware S90V aluminum milled scales sounds like a great deal for the price.
