@@ScottHarris794, I have to take back my comment. After a little more doctoring up, I’m actually really enjoying this stuff now. Maybe I wasn’t mixing it up well enough either. I’d be interested to hear your thoughts on other recipes/brands and how they compare to your experiences with traditional Nashville hot sauce. Thanks again for the video and the comment.

@@BrandonScottSellner Originally I would use the ATK recipe until I tried the Kroger brand (It's just easier to make and I like it). I have tried a few bottled "wet sauce brands" but the issue is there is vinegar added. At no point is there vinegar in a hot chicken recipe. Other than that I haven't tried much else but keep in mind I have lots of hot chicken places to go to being I'm in the Nashville area. My favorite place is called Bishop's in Franklin, Tn just outside of Nashville. This place is where the Hattie B's recipe was created. the difference is Hattie b's is single breaded and bishop's is double breaded Alright my friend have a good one and if try something you think is good give me a shout.

@@ScottHarris794 I’m actually headed to Nashville for my birthday weekend and was thinking about going to Party Fowl for the hot chicken, looks like a cool place but I might have to give Franklins a try. I was excited to try Sweet Baby Rays Nashville hot chicken sauce but I couldn’t have been more disappointed. That stuff was absolutely terrible. Thanks again for the info, I really appreciate it. Yes both sides work. A slotted peel could help with the excess flour. Or like me I rub a wood peel with flour pretty hard and tap off excess and then I toss my dough to get excess off before putting on peel. Good luck.
