You found me.
Hey y'all! I'm Lo Harris, a multidisciplinary artist. After nearly a decade working in the creative industry as a freelance artist, designer and creative lead, I've finally taken on a passion project I've been wanting to pursue for a very long time...
Welcome to Lo's Harmonious Life!
Every SUNDAY I release a new episode that compounds my thoughts on creativity, community, and creative work, with vlogs of my day-to-day experiences as a fun-loving human getting by and making stuff in this world.
I'm so excited to get to know this community and speak to the things we might have in common.
Expect new vlogs every weekend with micro shenanigans in-between ♥️
Stick around for a while!

it's 7 am in the country where i live in rn. i didn't sleep tonight and kept refreshing my homepage until i saw something that i wanted to watch. i'm glad i did, you seem very lovely and chill. i really would love an older sister like you. i'm in a place in my life that made me realize i was basically performing as someone i'm not all these years. i mostly feel fake. and the sad part is i think i don't even know who i actually am. people always tell me that i look very easygoing and very nice to talk to when i open up about these thoughts that i have. it doesn't even feel like a compliment anymore. do you have any suggestions for someone like me to try as they find themself? i will turn 21 in april btw.
I remember being 20! The cool thing about it is that you have an entire decade to experiment and explore who you really are. Give yourself a little more grace. :) I used to think I was masquerading as someone else too. As it turns out, those versions of me I used to cringe at were still me, but small samplers of different versions of myself that didn't quite make sense at the time. Keep on living! 10 years from now you'll look back and see how all those different iterations of you inform your authentic self! Thank you for watching! 🦋
I recently graduated from college and find myself in a period of isolation away from the community I formed as a student, I feel that your video has motivated me to find new people and get myself out there
It's wonderful to hear my perspective is helping you through this transition! I wish you all the best in finding your new community.
This get me thinking about how since she hinted her interest in horses, you had something to connect to. So it really takes all parties to be willing to put a bit of themselves out there and make the effort to find the connections with those around them.
Love this addition! And if a person is shy it makes me want to take more care to acknowledge and engage with what they've shared. I've been learning recently that when people who don't speak a lot finally say something, it presents a rare opportunity to get to know them.

wow, love your philosophies ❤
Thank you so much for sharing your time!
This is great. I’m going through the same process right now. The less stuff, the more mental energy I have to use to maintain the stuff, the more time and freedom I’ll have.
Congratulations on your journey and I'm glad My perspective resonated. :) Rooting for you and let me know how it turns out!
Love your new years insights 🎉 loving the vlogs lauren love you🫶cheers to losing things that dont serve you to open doors you wanna open
Love you Jenny! Thanks for being a supportive friend
wow. the first 4 minutes of this video had me crying in my lunch. You said what you did so beautifully and truthfully i wish i could broadcast your words to everyone who needs them. Everything you said about doors closing to open another one was profound to me and it touched me thank you
I'm so happy that this resonated and I thank you so much for sharing a few minutes of your time with me 🦋 May you always open the doors that serve you best
your mindset about decluttering is amazing and very inspirational. definitely motivated after this video!
Thank you so much for spending your time with my words! Wishing you a 2025 full of clarity and joy
my great grandma lived thru the great depression as a kid, and as some form of trauma response spent the rest of her life hoarding all forms of stuff- from newspapers to milk cartons. its always been so interesting to me, the relationship we have with the material world, and 3 generations on, i still find myself affected by the way my family has responded to their possessions my mom, always trying desperately to get rid of stuff, my grandmother, spending the past 20 years raking through her mother's journals, using them to chart her family history, and me, somewhere in between. trying to honour my materials without being too attached materials are weird, and being able to understand the value of the stuff we take into our homes and lives (and even being aware of the fact that our lives can go on without such things) is something i feel like a lot of people could benefit from, so good for you!!
I love this reflection. My grandmother was also a depression baby and in my next video (editing it this week) I interview her a bit and she mentions some of the impacts that her childhood and her mother's thriftiness have had on her. The history of stuff and our relationship to stuff is multigenerational. There's certainly a lot to learn from our ancestors.
Some great points in this video, thanks for sharing with the world
Thank you for taking the time to watch and let me know. I really really appreciate the support!

@@awan29105 yes my baby has what's called a cauliflower ear. Before he was adopted he had an ear mite infection that impacted that ear, but he can still hear
@loharris_art awh I'm glad he is all okay and healthy now, such an adorable little one 💓 he is so lucky to be with such caring person 😊
My cat is absolutely identical to this one, even has the same damaged ear. The only difference (no, not the coloring) is that he is VERY, VERY loud.
Ooo wait till I film him getting fed in the mornings! Potato be using his voice! Maybe we have clones!

Scorpio energy! We're sensitive and powerful 💪🏿!
I love how you phrased the message of this video. Putting yourself out there and potentially facing rejection is terrifying. However, I gotta start showing myself otherwise how else will my people find me?!
@@WelchFelicity My people my people helloooo 👋🏾
Your comment on continuing to cultivate the seeds you plant really made me look myself in the mirror! Often times I can set a goal, but those action steps and going back to remind myself why I set it in the first place gets lost when I don’t see the outcome being achieved. Thank you for the inspiration! And hoping you find peace in sitting back and not feeling that you need to lead in every moment! ❤
@@WelchFelicity keep steady! You have everything you need in you to make your goals happen. We got to keep showing up and trusting the process 🦋

Hey there!! Appreciate what you said at the start, as I’m planning to launch my own YT channel in the next couple of weeks as a new creative, early retiree, who has moved abroad to Mexico 😊
Wow kudos to a new chapter! It sounds like your perspective will make a lot of folks feel seen, particularly our friends who are diving into creativity later in their careers. Congratulations, and I wish you the very best on your storytelling journey!
this was so lovely and warm i am going thru the same thing right now so comforting to know i am not alone!!! <3
You're not alone, we're all in this together!
@@loharris_art you are soo sweet thank you sooo much!! <333
Thank you for this beautiful and relatable video. I took a look at your linked print which I LOVE and it's so conceptually similar to a piece I recently painted that my jaw dropped because it's so aligned with lessons I've also been learning! "I've got me" yess Great work, have a lovely day!! <3
It's so cool you're creating too! It always feels so special when you come across someone else who's locked into some of the same musings!
“We’re supposed to be running around in the forest, not doing this.” Amen! I think this all the time. It truly is crazy.
Yassss Lauren ❤
I love your vulnerability and honesty. I can relate to that feeling of needing to prove my worth and it’s a really negative feedback loop and I find it hard to get out of. Thank you for creating this space, excited to see all the vlogs for this journey of your 29th year 💕
Thank you Felicity! So great to have you in my life!
I feel like social media makes us conform, into to becoming somethin else. The algorithms tend to pefer video to picture posts. Adding music on top changes or can change the mood I want to evoke for a piece. Also I hate always feeling obliged to have my face in the video 😂😅. I'm fine with video posting just not how social media perfers. I avoid like 90+ % of tends because i feel like they are more clout & performative than espressing ourselves and sharing the human experience. I, want to see and love it when people create for, the benefit of themselves over popularity. I am full of ideas though, I truly dont wanna say I'm in burnout but I will see where ai and trends go.
