    Great video, but please explain something to me! The boot worked very well, but it seemed like a joke at first. But then I saw a video where Putin and Obama had breakfast and the cook was using the boot-instrument for the samovar too. Why the boot? Are there specialized samovar boots for traditional reasons?

    • @GREENCEEL
      @GREENCEEL Рік тому

      Thank you! Im glad that you have asked) First of all, the reason why a traditional samovar needs an additional instrument is the absence of solid air supply to the tube with the coals. Without air the fire (hence the heat) goes out, and with an instrument that forces air to come in the heat stays good enough for water to boil. Why the boot (sapog)? Well, its a tribute to the history. Back in the days you would barely find an equipment as suitable for this task as a boot: its lasting, flexible and everyone has it anytime needed ahah. Royal and rich families were drinking tea, however samovar was always prepared by their servants, peasants (that were wearing boots like that day and night). Time flies, we have electro samovars and tons on suitable equipment for keeping the fire burning, however, the picture of samovar with a boot will always be on a special place in slavic hearts. Nowadays, of course, we have special boots that are just for samovar: they are clean and not used by peasants for casual wearing) I hope I have answered your question. Wish you a wonderful tea time on the upcoming Christmas 🎄

    Thank you for showing me the utility of a working samovar in Russia! I used to work as a gardener in a park. We heated our building with a Franklin wood stove. Wish we had a boot for a bellows! Also, I think your belt functions to keep the cold air from going up your coat besides being for regional style. What kind of tea? Best wishes from Brooklyn, New York, USA.

    • @GREENCEEL
      @GREENCEEL 6 років тому

      Wow! That is cool) Concerning the belt - yes, it keeps your jacket tight to the body, accumulating warm inside. In the video, I've used random black tea. The trick is in the way of its preparation. In case you will be interested, there is special "kind" of tea in Russia called "Чифир" / "Chifir". The roots of this recipe dig deep into Russian prisons and labor camps (GULAG), where prisoners were making ridiculously strong tea, putting the whole tea pack (not a tea bag, but the whole pack of tea bags) per one cup. An enormous amount of tannin intoxicates the body, making person energized (even stronger, that an amphetamine or coke) and sometimes, opening person mind to hallucinations. In my video I used this as a joke, cause the real Chifir in not a healthy stuff to dring at all. Thank you for watching my video and good luck with tea preparation)

    When Strikeforce shut the doors and Nick went back to the UFC, he never fought the same like he did in Strikeforce and at Dream FC in Japan... His fight with Condit?; fucking around talking doing silly shit. His fight with Anderson Silva?; fucking around doing silly shit, laying on the ground--- Nick could have won these fights, if he didnt fuck around so much
