Its funny to hear 4 tokens and harshness) It works like that - u add more tokens u got more progressive fork with harshness) Tokens reduce positive chamber volume, but negative stay without changing. It feels rediculously harsh when adding tokens into Fox forks - its their construction detail... The right way to get no harsh in hands and no bottoming out is remove 2 or even 3 tokens and add some more air pressure into air chamber) its sound weird - but that is common mistake of all non pro's) of people without knowledge of suspension tunning. First steps are 50 hour service or 200 hours full service and than open Fox site and simply put the ammout of reccomended air and clicks, tokens... But not doing It yourself.. Its because of complicated Fox tunning... Good luck)

Because the latest Deore and last gen XT seem so similar in this case I would probably stick with Deore. However, the price is very similar so no downside to XT if you can find it for cheap. Hey yeah, that’s the drawback of this trail. If you park at one of the Betasso trailheads at the top then you would have to climb back up. Not ideal. I usually park at the bottom lot and climb or if I biked from town I ride a few minutes on 119 from the end of Boulder Canyon trail. Also not ideal…but not terrible. The smart ones shuttle it.
