My Older Dogs Playing In the Snow! (Raven, Miley and Ali-Fay)
These are my three older girls: Rottweiler Raven, "Smiley" Miley the boxer/pit, and Ali-Fay the pointer. I adopted Raven in 2022 and the other girls last spring. Raven is seven, Miley is three and Ali-Fay is five years old.
They love to chase each other around! Ali-Fay is the fastest and has the most energy. Raven and Miley kind of let her run the perimeter of the yard and try to cut her off, it's very cute!
We have to give Miley a tennis ball or else she plays too rough and nips at the other two as they run past her.

I found your channel your your 'blogger embed video in post' video. To ask a question: was there any particular reason why you moved away from Blogger and made a new website? Any advantages or disadvantages? I'm just curious because I'm starting Blogger (because I don't want to pay for shared hosting).
Thanks for asking Steve! I moved away from Blogger because of its limitations. I wanted to add more widgets and customize my website more to my liking. Also, at some point, I will add a webstore to my site and Blogger isn't set up for that. Web hosting is damn expensive though and WordPress is NOT easy to manage! I sometimes miss Blogger's simplicity! Good luck on your new blog I think you'll enjoy it!
Can i use baking soda instead of baking powder?
Hi Ash_ley, I have never substituted but I know you can. Having said that, I can't guarantee the results, they are both leavening agents, but baking soda alone needs something to help it out. I did a little research, according to the Arm & Hammer site (who makes baking soda), you can substitute 1 tsp of baking powder with ¼ tsp. baking soda plus ½ tsp. cream of tartar OR ¼ tsp. of baking soda plus 1 tsp. of lemon juice or white vinegar. Let me know if you try it and how it turns out!!! ♥

I’m learning to bake. After Watching you make the baguettes I was wondering why even use the couche to proof? Can’t you lay the dough into the baguette pan and then do the proofing and scoring?
From what I've read, the couche helps the dough not to stick to the baguette pans. I've never made them any other way but if you do, please let me know how it works!!! Thanks for your comment!
Would the pickling spices work by putting them into a mesh tea ball?
I tried that and some of them seeped out into the fruit ketchup...I think cheesecloth is your best bet! ♥

this is so sweet Rain. i used to volunteer at a humane society in chicago and me and a friend always filled some kongs with kibble and peanut butter for the doggies there. they were so happy and simply relaxed with their treats. brough their stress levels down in such a tense environment. <3

Had some leftover garlic left in the fridge for a little too long so they started to grow scapes. Put them in a bowl with water for fun to see if they'd grow further and they are about 10-15 cm long now. Should i put them in a pot with dirt?
