I don't know how knowledgeable you are of the competitive scene but in splatoon 2 there was a pro player who used charger and heavy splatlings and mained stick controls. they went by raziel. they were one of the best backlines imo and they have results. I have huge respect for that player. It's viable for long/mid ranged weapons but for aggro players I think they should use motion if they want to improve since they have to turn wider angles more often and do it fast.

FINALLY!!!! I’ve been searching for a splatoon video like this!! I can’t agree with you more. I never know how to put it into words but it just really is amazing. Almost everything about it makes me so happy. You mentioned sometime in the video that you could possibly make more videos relating to the manga? And to that I say PLEASE!!!!! Ik this comment is almost two years after it was released 😭 but I would LOVE to see more videos about the manga just like this. I personaly don't really see the point of self humiloty for myself. Like I'm pretty decent at splatoon 3 and tf2 and definetly could improve but selfnhumility just... Dosen't sound like a fun time

to be fair, I thought humility was sort of about the pursuit of less constantly striving to be a better player involves pride. youre prideful about the game and how to improve at it. when I see a game involving a highly competitive and skill based pyramid, I think of my inkbrush. thats pretty much the only thing i want to think about. being grateful for every little thing.

I disagree - there are many unfilled, underexplored niches. There's a lack of salmon run and lore tubers and especially tableturf. Is coverage of the main modes oversaturated though? Probably. But it's less about the quantity and more about the overall quality. Also animators, music remixers/original track makers are great to see, I still think they count as a splatuber in some way.

Spoilers... the fact that goggles pantsed every male character (except the ones in splatsville hierarchy) is funny

ngl, a bit dissapointed. I thought that it function kinda like a pogo stick, like you would punch the ground then you'd go into the air again before smashing the ground again a couple times. Think something like sonic's bounce attack for example or.... A pogo stick...

Personally, I feel like people have their own Splatoon content they're interested in, and it's not like videos disappear, they are there, to be seen, whenever. I mean, think of other, more popular games. They don't have issues with their UA-cam content.

I think something to keep in mind is Splatoon is finite. The S3's content cycle WILL end eventually. The community will start to run dry in let's say '24. There will be many Splatubers that leave because the game is done, so having MORE Splatubers will have a higher chance of having that one that does stick around.
