Technology Isn’t a Neutral Tool (Jason Thacker)
Переглядів 85Рік тому
Source: www.podbean.com/eau/pb-j3nkk-1418c55 From social media, to the printing press, to artificial intelligence, to the pencil, many people have thought of technologies as morally neutral tools that they can wield for either good or ill. Jason Thacker doesn't think any technology is merely a neutral tool, because as people use technology to shape the world, it also shapes them and their cultu...

About 10 minutes in …and I’m just respectfully sharing…. This came to mind : You know how you can look at a cat , or dog, or frog , or seal , or fish (just from glance) you can’t tell if their male nor female ? I believe (in a way that’s how it is with humans) concerning GOD’s image …..we look like Him …like photocopies of him…(however He looks) humans are the female & male image of HIM…. ……………………………………………..,. Example: Basketball: let’s make marbles in our own image Also Basketball: Same prototypes but different functions…so when they come together 🤦‍♂️ they can become one & make one (many) … Marbles : We are made in the image of Our Basketball

Its not hard. Jews were never Israelite. They edited the Hebrew Bible so they can be included in Israelite covenant legends. They briefly were ruled by the same handful of kings. That doesn't make Jews into Israelites or Israelites into Jews. Then Jews migrated to that land and called themselves the real Jews while denying the real Israelites - Samaritans. Jews are Judeans and then members of Judaism which believes Judeans were Israelites. Objective archaeology proves this is fiction.

To summarize; an image (tselem) refers to a physical statue/idol in the ancient world and so humans as God's image means we are physical (embodied) beings representing God on earth. Being human is not on capacity terms (like intelligence and strength) but based on embodiment/having a human body.

We are not to live by the Mosaic laws. She is highly DECEIVED. The Torah wasn't for us in this Dispensation. She is trying to focus on laws that Jesus didn't give us now. She doesn't rightly divide the word of God at all. THESE professors always trying to read the Bible and speak on what We have. No Jesus is not pro Torah. COVENANT faithfulness is Grace dispensation. She is confused and shouldn't be trying to teach the gospel. We are NOT under the laws Given for jews and Isrealites now They can't live it then and especially not now. She is clueless Get out of the theology classes and learn by the holy Spirit. Ridiculous. Another DOCTRINE miscontrued

Very important and relevent. I often hear atheist apologists try to discredit scripture by quote mining and cherry picking to mislead people into thinking it endorses American Chattel Slavery in much the same way that those slave owners did. However if that were true then slave owners would have had no motive to suppress literacy or create edited 'slave bibles'. There is a huge difference between biblical writers acknowledging that various forms of slavery existed around them and the claim that the Bible as a whole endorses or supports slavery.
