To be fairly honest, any set with Ahsoka is gonna be a lost cause no matter what.

One of the LEGO sets I'm always nostalgic for is the original Clone Trooper Battle Pack which came with two normal clones, a Coruscant guard trooper, and a Star Corps. clone. To this day, I absolutley love the original Phase II clones. They looked amazing!

The lack of wall was present in original too, and I can't think of a way to solve it without either only attaching astromech's head there while hiding the body elsewhere, or substantially extending that section past the point where it would look good. Guns at the back seems to be the right size, maybe just ever so slightly longer, and I mean like, two studs longer or so, original had them a bit oversized. Engines are roughly the right size, I can't think of way for Lego to make them bigger but not too big in that scale. I like the new version better mainly because it's not too oversized. Also, it's nice that we get three clones instead of a jedi. Yes, two of them are named, but they're not too distinct, and if you get multiple of them, you won't spot the fact that you have multiple oddballs unless you actively point that out. It's not like they're distinct like Rex or Fives are. And even if, you only need to change helmets. I will buy this set. Not on release, but I won't wait for sale with it. I already have a backlog of sets to get eventually. Price is ridiculous, but Lego is clearly ignoring what we're trying to tell them anyways.

Nah they didn’t deliver really. Figures look great but for the price the build is so disappointing with the size with what came before. And they could’ve at least printed the cockpits and had duel moulded legs for how expensive it is

I’m sorry, and I completely understand the frustration about the price, that’s definitely justified, but I hate the criticism of how the cockpit opens. Most Lego Star Wars ships have inaccurate cockpits, look at the ghost, and shuttles, and some fighters like the tie bomber. They are done this way for easier access. I understand that it was accurate before, and it’s not accurate now, but who cares, it’s a sleeker design beyond this, so I don’t think it should be that big of an issue. Not trying to justify the set, I swear, that price is absolutely unjustifiable, but still

Looking at this Lego situation really makes me upset. As a kid I missed out on too many things, and when I would actually get something nice I was never taught well enough to take care of it, and so every time I would get Lego sets and lose pieces, my dad would tell me that he's never buying Lego for me again. Years later I'm 19 and I still don't have a job yet, and I really want to invest in Lego again but now thanks to adults welcome I'm completely demotivated.

i agree that the price is absolute highway robbery but the minifig lineup is pretty reasonable given where we see this ship in the show. Lux was long gone from the story at this point (and also everybody either hates him or has to google his name), and the obsession with getting specific named clones is niche to a specific subset of adult TCW fans. no kid gives a shit about getting Jesse or Kix or whatever, and literally nobody wants a Lux Bonterri, because he sucks ass. ofc none of this matters because people will complain about absurd prices while choking down whatever slop they're fed, because they're incapable of growing up and finding a new hobby. learn to paint, or code, or build more advanced models like airfix or gunpla. you can actually just stop obsessing over lego and do something else with your time, whenever you want to, nobody is holding a gun to your head. i still poke my head into Lego videos occasionally but it got too expensive so i just stopped buying it. it's actually easy as hell.

at this point i am starting to think that buying custom builds is better idea like brickvaults builds because the actual sets are getting to a point where there almost the same price for worse models and less parts the only thing is there's no minifigures with customs but if crappy remakes of good parts and over priced sets is what we can expect from lego in the future I don't want to support this anymore

I think I'am going to stop collecting Lego Star Wars (my fa. Like I love my collection but the prices are just insane, I won't pay 45 dollars for an interceptor even if it is one of my favorite star wars ships. I know inflation exists and yeah, I think that it is part of the reason on why Lego is rising his prices, but at the same time just feel like they are going greedy with some of their prices, like I can get a battlepack with 2 builds and 6 minifigs for 5 dollars less than this set. It is obvious that collectors will buy this and it's alright, like people can do whatever they want with their money but I don't want them complaining about lego prices (Reviewers are an exception) but I think people are forgetting that kids still love lego, like everytime I go to a Lego Store I see more kids than adult collectors. It is obvious that the set will sell well even if collectors don't buy it because of that.

Ppl will buy it anyway. And as long as ppl buy it (no matter the discount from retailer btw.) Lego will put the least effort possible in it. Damn i bet they could only put Ahsoka and nothing else in this set for 60 bugs and ppl would still buy this XD So if you all really want better product, resist the FOMO and stop buying crappy overpriced Legosets. Or at least buy them used :)

No offence, but this set is based near the start of the Ahsoka bombing the temple arc, where Anakin and Ahsoka are in their jedi interceptors and Anakin's fighter crashes so Ahsoka flies in to save him, so having Lux or Jesse wouldn't make much sense

They should've replaced Anakin with Prune Face
