The last part after the cameo freezes the bot can be tricky, you have to be quick.

@@averageyoutubeuser408 A good tip, which I just applied moments ago (as I was struggling the same with that second part) is to go into practice mode and practice only this second part of the string against a BLOCKING bot (the ones that do NOT block the first hit and any following hit is blocked - if you didn't chain the combo properly). Basically, in practice mode, if the bot blocks the spin, you're too late. But the tip is to type the sequence as fast as possible... It's easier to go to practice mode for 2 mins though, as you don't get the BS loading screens, press A and all that garbage. Just reset, do the combo, reset, do combo, reset, do combo. Do that for a few mins and you will be getting the node in no time afterwards. You will have done the second part of the combo a lot more in practice mode than you get to do it against that exploding bot... You're fighting the menus in that invasion mode.

Yes if you hold towards then the circle and r1 input will fail. You can tap towards to get close enough for the circle and r1 inputs but just tap towards and release, don't hold it

It's all based on getting the timing down. Wait until the two blades that are going up and down get on the same level as the ones that are floating to then quickly press the back, forward triangle input.

I went through invasions with Liu Kang and accumulated a lot of stat points. Now I'm trying to get points for another character but nothing I do seems to get me points. What am I supposed to do?

​@jasonshepard4822 yeah I noticed that too. The only thing that might help a little is to complete the towers in invasion mode, the daily, hourly, weekly or the seasonal tower and try to finish the matches with a brutality.

​@@jasonshepard4822you are actually wrong. Your invasions level max out at 30 however you can level up multiple characters each invasion season. Each character levels up to 35 and cameos to level 15.
