Everytime I hear Water Gate and 8-bit style, the first thing that pops out to me is finding that sneaky water gate key in Dragon Quest 2

Such a nice and calming music. Unfortunately, never played this one, but maybe someday

WHY IS THIS GEM IN THE SIMS

Really wishing this particular game got a remaster on the Switch. It's the perfect one to have it to my eyes.

What a magical piece this is. Sounds so mystical

1) Katamari on the Rocks, but Que Sera is a close second. 2) I love the Professor Layton series. The hidden puzzles, the animations before getting the right /wrong answer, the MUSIC. 3) I'd love to see a weird twist on the Picross games from Jupiter. 4) The King could definitely roll up the Evil Shadow Queen from Paper Mario Thousand Year Door

1. Unfortunately I'm not knowledgeable about Katamari Damacy, but from what I've heard, I enjoy Cherry Blossom Color Season and Fugue 7777 quite a lot. That's only by a small margin though, the entire soundtrack is just that good. 2. Oh dear, so many. I think people often underestimate just how creative, expressive and wild video games can be. The silly Saturday morning cartoon robots of Mega Man, the decay all throughout the Soulsborne series, the Hip Hop graffiti style of The World Ends With You, the ludicrously over the top presentation of everything Warhammer. Castlevania, Yakuza, Warframe, Borderlands, Papers Please, Untitled Goose Game, the list feels endless! 3. Oh, that's an easy one: Final Fantasy. That series has meddled with so many aesthetics and combat systems now and quite often, they've turned out well. I want them to continue with that, and post-success of 7 Remake and Rebirth, I would love to see them take more risks and try wild things! 4. I don't even know what my favourite game is, but ... Probably yes?

1. Difficult question. Probably something from We ❤ Katamari, but I don't actually listen to these games' soundtracks enough to give a proper answer. 2. Okami, everything about the presentation is so unique to this day. It also happens to be my GOAT. 3. I think Pokémon could rock the Octopath Traveler aesthetic to great effect. 4. The final boss of Okami is basically a giant ball, so it'd be a battle of the ages! Given enough time the Prince will always come out the larger of the two though, so I'd have to say: yes.

There had not yet been an x00 video for Katamari? So it's good it's finally rectified. And great summary of how Katamari is supposed to be enjoyed. xD Also, usually I love Katamari music, but this track doesn't do anything for me, sadly. 1. Too many to really pick one. 2. Plenty. For example Sound Voyager on GBA. 3. Zelda? I would love for Zelda to change anything just to get away from what it has become since BotW. 4. Ganon from OoT? Easily, I guess. ^^

KD is an excellent choice for a X00 entry. 1. Lonely Rolling Star. I think from the sequel my fav is Everlasting Love. 2. FEZ. I think so at least. It's got a pretty iconic look and the 3D aspect to the 2D world is neat from a gameplay standpoint. 3. I don't have a good answer for this, but I could see the Resident Evil series potentially doing something that could surprise us in terms of presentation. It happened with RE4 and RE7 after all. Not so much graphically, but in terms of gameplay camera. 4. I guess I'll go with Super Mario Bros. 3. Since the Prince is rolling up continents by the end of KD1 (maybe even more? My memory is murky since I haven't played it since the PS2), I'm pretty sure the Prine could roll up any enemy in in SMB3.

Not a big fan of the gameplay in these games myself either, but the music is brilliant indeed. As for the questions: 1. Lonely Rolling Star 2. Far too many to list. If I were to choose just one, then Cuphead 3. Tough question, would probably need help to evaluate that 4. No idea, probably not

1. Lonely Rolling Star 2. Ace Attorney is the first thing that comes to my mind 3. Maybe Sonic, cuz anything with it I can enjoy. 4. Anything can beat the final boss of Grandia, but the Prince of All Cosmos can easily do it too.

1: Katamari Amore - High School 2: I think Spyro works for this question, I've never seen another game with a similar dreamy atmosphere and vibe. 3: Uh Sonic i guess, mostly because the music could be interesting. 4: Yes. The Sorceress from Spyro 3 doesn't stand a chance.

I actually love the gameplay as much as the music. It's just so fun to me. You should definitely play the other Katamari games.

Man it only it feels like yesterday that i came upom this channel. I've listened to nearly 2000 unique since i first subbed to this channel. Cheers to another 100!

1. Katamaritaino 2. FE Echoes is a game that is artistically exceptional in a way the series hasn't matched before or since. 3. Kinda cheating here, but i could really go for a Custom Robo game in current year that marries the combination of fast paced and semi-realistic looking combat with the cartoonish and lighthearted plot and aesthetic that would be approachable by anyone (ideally with more depth and maybe a somewhat open world aiding in customization and replayability) 4. The Prince would absolutely be able to roll up the devil from Guitar Hero 3.

I plan on having this song play on my wedding one day. If my husband says no, there will be no wedding. It's beautiful.

1. My favorite is "The Moon and the Prince" though "Lonely Rolling Star" is a close second. 2. I'm a huge fan of Paper Mario (even some of the modern games). It's what comes to mind first when I think "Mario". 3. Please, give me an interesting-looking Pokémon game. I'm starving here. 4. Considering he's made of paper in a paper world, pretty easily actually (Bowser from Paper Mario 64).

The Silver Case nails the early Internet vibes and has one of my favorite presentations in a visual novel. 3. Kid Icarus (I just want a new game lol) 4. Yeah, he could easily roll [REDACTED] from Hades (2020).

Sorry for such a long wait on this one, this year has certainly not been the most relaxing one but thankfully not in a bad way! It's a pretty short x00 video, but I always knew Katamari would get its spot in the pantheon someday. The crazy year continues as I have to be away from home for 2 weeks starting next week, so things should get back to normal in November. I will also take that opportunity to do a revamp of the Patreon page which I have had issues figuring out after the full archival of the old channel was completed.
