When they are exchanging punches Homelander's seem to have little effect on Butcher and it really makes sense. He doesn't know how to throw a real punch with proper power behind it, he never had to because his strength alone was always enough. But against someone with the same level of power the experience and skill makes the difference.

These people get fight scenes aren't just spectacles. There's also story going on

My biggest gripe with this scene is this: why didn't they just cave in his head? They had 3 superpowered guys pinning him down, with SB being able to take hits *and* deal damage to HL with just his fists, SB could've taken his shield and then *smush* ... no more HL. Bothers me immensely that instead they tried a method they didn't even know for sure would work. It's also just so out of character for Butcher; this is *the* chance to avenge what happened to his wife, he'd 100% take it and try to just kill HL, not hold him down.

I hope that butcher rips the symbiote out of him and regains the Temp V powers to fight HomeLander
