Do you have a version In English?🤙🏼How you made it?
My question is, how do you compare your method of adding a physical switch, to another mod tutorial where there was no addition of a physical switch? The results of both sound similar...but if that's the case, I'd much rather do the mod that doesn't require drilling a hole, etc. Your thoughts? Here's the link to that other mod: ua-cam.com/video/R4BoIFx77VQ/v-deo.html
eu num esperava ver brasil aqui, i wasn't expecting to see brazil in here, love it!
You’ll might want to test and try and match the capacitor values as closely as possible to keep the vibrato pulse symmetric. Most capacitors have a +/- 10% tolerance so there could be a significant difference in values. For example, an individual 100uF 10% tolerance capacitor’s actual value could be anywhere from 90uF to 110uF.
THE BEST MICROPHONE

😭
The struggle is real 💔
do you happen to know a mod that you could add the vibrato circuit to the Bypass switch for instance (eg blend the clean back in to get a chorus vibe)
💯❤
Amigo.
Hi, I took the skillshare class and asked a question but seems you’re not checking that these days. In it you mentioned that you had experimented with different magnet size, ribbon width and wire turns o transformer. You demo’d some of your mics but it would be helpful so I don’t have to make a slew of them to know how these variables affected the tone and what you considered the optimal for each. Cheers
It is huge, but except that mic is very good.
Impressive! Nice work with found materials! On sourcing the foil in the future, check out Geistnote. Nice sound!
THIS NEEDS MORE LIKES❤❤🎉🎉
This was a really good design, and sounds great -- here we have 'dollar stores' that sell everything for one dollar... You can get an aluminum water bottle, for the mic body, a food strainer or 'splatter lid', for the grill mesh, and probably a few other parts on your list for only a few dollars.
Yo, this is sick
This incredible work! How do y'all not have more recognition. Your folly and audio work also help bring this to life a ton!
Thanks! We actually borrowed a real rooster to record these sounds...I think our neighbours were probably worried we'd keep it
That’s some great work there friend never knew how it actually worked
muito bom!!! parabens por "garota de ipanema"
Cool 😎
Love it 🔥
Thanks 🔥
Absolutely gorgeous <3
Thank you so much!!
can you demonstrate playing arpeggio on modified effect?
Good good good
Muy lindo video
Meteu uma bossa nova ainda! Parabéns 👏👏👏👏
What a genius
Delightful vintage creamy sound. Noise floor is definitely there, but in a such musical way. Perfect mic for the Song.
Neat!
What are the copper plates from?
Its copper tape and two aluminium bars
@@eleanorgiovanni Really cool. Does it work well with EQ? I'm really impressed you made your own toroidal transformers!
@@eleanorgiovanni I need to find a corregator!
@@jeffreyjbyron old printers have a lot of them, check some toys like lego kits or science toys, cheers
Hola Giovanni.
@@eleanorgiovanni Hola Giovanni. He leído tu mensaje. Gracias! Miguel
I love it . That’s so good to know more music videos made with stop motion as well.
A very small amount of turpentine, citrus solvents, or paint thinner will easily remove the remaining gummy stickiness from any foil wrapper if you're having this issue. Thanks for this tutorial :)
Wow! This was awesome! If you’re looking for more content to cover, I would humbly request you to do this stop motion music video that just released: ‘Heels Up + Head Over’. All stop motion animation & almost every effect is in camera. Also, I’d be happy to answer any questions about production ua-cam.com/video/RiOIrjRkqYE/v-deo.html Looking forward to more videos! Very exciting
I like your music taste so far and the interesting analysis ^^ Keep it up and have fun
I love it.
Thank you!
Thanks, really informative and great analysis of the clip
Thanks! More coming soon
Giovanni, me anoto.
I’m late to the party Giovanni. You’re a clever son of a gun man!!! I loved it!
Very cool build!
“Tony Stark built this in a cave! With a box of scraps!”
wow very nice project
thank you!
I think the author got the microphone wiring backwards! The coil with just a FEW turns must be connected to the ribbon in the microphone, not the much larger coil. Also, after reading a lot about these 'ribbon' microphones, (also called a 'velocity' microphone) I found that using 'gum wrapper' foil, or any other foil that thin is simply not necessary. This makes the microphone extremely fragile, and easily damaged. If this were dropped on the floor, that 'gum wrapper' foil would be ruined requiring it to be repaired. Just use normal aluminum foil, because it will vibrate with sound just as good (or better!) than a gum wrapper without being so easily damaged! Hope this helps.
