DJI Air 3 Norfolk Southern Pittsburgh Line; Newport - Leshville May 3, 2024
I spent an evening on the Norfolk Southern Pittsburgh Line just east of Newport and then at Leshville. In five hours I was able to capture thirteen trains.

My second attempt of aerial railroad videography. This time was a bit better than the last. Trains seen were; 67X, 39G, 28X, 36A, 25T, 25P, AMTK O4T, Empty Oil / Ethanol, and 11N. I hope you enjoy my second attempt at aerial railfan video. Enjoy!

My first attempt at filming trains with a drone. The location is just east of Mifflin, PA on the Norfolk Southern Pittsburgh Line. Due to a dead battery in my sound recorder, I was unable to capture the actual train sounds, so I set the video to music. Hopefully the next outing will be more successful Enjoy!

Over the past three days central Pennsylvania received over two inches of rain, bringing creeks and streams out of their banks. This morning we had a few breaks of sun, before becoming overcast, so I headed out to get a little footage of some of the high waters.
