There darkwave tracks would be very fitting for the new Penguin show- this particular track really captures his warped nature and the suffering/pain he endures… the flashes of synth weaving in and out almost like pain signals shooting through his body and the base drone being an ever present oppressive feeling of inadequacy

The live versions always have growl'ier synths and more dynamic drums. The record uses a lot more dynamic range as it doesn't have to out volume a crowd or be compressed so it can get played on standard speakers. The builds here are festival sized. It would be out of place on a record
