Adventures in the Upper Peninsula of Michigan, fishing, camping, metal detecting just to name a few, come with us on a scenic adventure!
Sugarloaf Mountain Color Adventure
This is our annual fall color trip to show you the amazing fall colors in the upper peninsula! The walk to the top of Sugarloaf was fairly easy, I had to stop a few times to rest, but it’s worth the walk! If you’re planning a trip to the UP you can’t beat this time of year!

A lot of STAIRS!!!
Hi from st.ignace i love metal detecting!
@@awtumnbawtumn me too! It’s the trill of the chase! I have high hopes every signal, it doesn’t always happen, but I have fun searching! Thanks for watching 😁
Watching from Finland. Lot of people with Finnish roots there in Michigan.
@@paulikarmala yes, we have plenty up here! The ones I know are always ready for two things, fishing and drinking beer!😁🍻
Good people, better friends
Beautiful Falls!!
Get yourself a cheap spray bottle with water in it for those coins. You'll be happy you did, especially when shooting videos.
I’ll give it a try, I’m carrying so much already, trying to keep my gear at a minimum. Spray bottle would definitely help! Thanks for watching!
I metal detect around Iron Mountain and Niagara. I created a Facebook group called UP North Metal Detecting to bring people who are interested in the hobby together.
Very good! I’ll check it out! Would be great to get a group out on a hunt together. I’ve only been detecting for a couple summers, it’s addictive! Thanks for watching!
@@UPLivin906 I found a $4K diamond/gold ring in Myrtle Beach a few weeks ago and I'm hooked. I'd definitely love to get a group together!
I just followed your fd page, I’ll keep an eye on it, hopefully a group hunt in the future!😃
nice coin chasing. i just got back from a weekend trip up around crisp lighthouse and two heart. found an old sawblade at crisp point and was able to turn it into the lighthouse museum
Very good, always nice to find anything useful! Thanks for watching😁
Beautiful view!!
I want to get the lyrics to that song.
Cute twins!! ❤
Cool how it’s loaded and moved around!!
👍🍻
That shoe you found is an ox shoe. Keep it, it is probably very old. Nice work. Subscribed!
@@Highplainsprospectors I had to look it up on line, its definitely an oxen shoe, Thanks for subscribing 😁👍🍻
If you say you are a good dog. you must be, I'm sure you don't lie.😂😂😂😂😂❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
It’s all in the eyes of the beholder!😁 Really, she’s not that good, she’s a barker😜
She is a good baby just by looking at her. She is so sweet.❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
@@annettebarth6435 She’s a 4yo half chiwawa, half yorkie! Just under 5lb, very calm, very sweet, she’s our baby😁
Love the crashing busses!!
Nice to find someone detecting in Michigan! I'm in the lower part of the state. Good luck! I'm glad I found you! ❤ Oh by the way, chose half horse shoes I'm thinking are Oxen shoes. They look like it anyway.
Yes, I had to look them up on line, they are definitely oxen shoes! Thanks for watching!
I'm surprised you found any old silver up there at all. Those people only traded in deer hide and beaver pelts until the 1930's.
Ha, still do sometimes😁🍻
Hell probably into the 1980s.
When you went down into the fire room , you were where I worked for my 3.5 years on the EDSON.
It’s a beautiful ship, I was amazed how well it’s kept up all these years! It must have been quite the adventure serving on this ship! Thank you for your service and thanks for watching!
Those aren’t half of horse shoes, they’re ox shoes
@@lookin4zinc yes they are! Had to look them up on line, never saw them before. I mention that at the end of the video. Thanks for watching, have a good one!🍻
Both them shoes are ox shoes not half of a horseshoe!
Yes, I say that at the end of the video, had to look them up on line to figure out what they are. First time I ever saw one of them! Thanks for watching, have a great day!
Nice hunt!
@@EastCoastDigs Thanks, it was an eventful couple days, rain and mic problems to say the least! It was fun though, have a good one!🍻
Woah, that’s a LOT of vines
Yes, it’s been that way for years, catches my eye every time I drive by, thanks for watching 🍻
Just found your channel👍 anytime detecting in the UPis always good.
👍🍻
If your ever in the keweenau peninsula and are interested in float copper send a message.
It would be great to detect the Keweenau, but I’m a 4 hour drive away, maybe in the future, I’ll keep you in mind when I finally get up there! Thanks for watching!
Love it
Thanks! They are beautiful 😁
My advice would be don’t let them do this on the couch. It could encourage them to become territorial from other dogs and people. On the floor. Anyone is fair game
Thanks, I’ll try controlling that, but could be tough
@@UPLivin906 it always is. 😭 good luck! 🍀
Bros hitting 360 no scopes on jit
😁🍻
É isso aír companheiro detectorista. Boa caçada! Que Deus abençoa sempre sua vida! Se for possível se escreva no meu canal no UA-cam: Leon detectorismo.

Hello fellow metal detectorist from mid Michigan!
Hello, where you from?
Nice hunt, I hunt daily here on the treasure coast of Florida, all my hunts are on the beach, hunting the 1715 fleet
It would make my year to go down there and detect the beach, every time I’m down there my wife makes me leave my detector home! Can’t win!😀 Thanks for watching!🍻
@@UPLivin906 I understand buddy, hide it in your suitcase, lol
Will do, coming soon to a beach near you!😜
Congrats on the Barbers - nice hunt!
Thanks, best day I’ve had so far👍😁
Half of a "horse shoe?" Looks like an 🐂 ox shoe. But,then you pulled out another of the same kind..Both"shoes are looking like oxen shoes..."pork chops" in the vernacular..... Sorry for being ahead of you... You corrected yourself about the "oxen shoes!; next time, I will let you alone until the wrap-up .. Good Job!;!
Yes they are oxen shoes! I had to look them up on line, never saw one before! Thanks for the comment!
Congratulations on that Buffalo found yourself a nice little honey hole
Thanks, it was a great day!
Beautiful!!!
Yes it was😁
Was an awesome trip!
Sad😢
Yes it is☹️
So cute!!!
Love ya!
Nice, never knew there was that many in town. I would like to see one of Vals murals on a building.
That would be cool! Call her, she may be up for it😁
Cool finds!
Thanks you, have a great day!
So you live in Michigan? I grew up in Iowa near the Mississippi River. When I was 21 I moved to Portland Oregon area because my soon to be husband lived here. Thanks for sharing! 🙂
Beautiful country in Oregon, I was out there last summer on a 3 week trip, first time seeing the pacific! Was Awesome!
I get it❤
Thanks for watching 😁
How sweet! I miss having a dog. I hopefully will get another one soon.
She’s our baby, 3y Yorkie chihuahua mix, definitely a hand full! Don’t forget to subscribe. Thanks for watching 😁
Yes. I subscribed. 🙂
I had a 2.8 lb Yorkie but he had to be euthanized last year on December 2nd from sudden kidney failure. He was only 2.5 years old. I was heartbroken. His name was Tobias and he was the sweetest little boy. I still cry.
Losing a pet is always devastating! We had a rat terrier we lost to cancer 3 years ago, we still miss her very much!
I am so very sorry. I know it hurts so bad.😪
This time of year makes me miss living up there so much!!
Happy I could bring you a little bit of home! It’s so beautiful up here this time of year, kind of a reward for having to live through winter! Don’t forget to subscribe so you don’t miss our next videos. Thanks for watching!
Where is this in relation to The Soo?
Hello! 3 hour drive west to Escanaba, it’s in Ludington Park on the east end of Ludington Street! The Stone House is the best food in town! Enjoy!
Love this song for boating
Thanks, not much of a video, the song makes it!🍻
Never been here but it sure looks nice ! Thanks for the great tour 😊
Thanks for watching! It is beautiful up here, if you want scenery, I recommend late October, the fall colors are unbelievable! I’ll have a video out then, keep watching 😁
I live near Gladstone and bring grand kids to the park and beach there at least once a year. I am a Yooper also and I metal detect but I do more rock hunting now that my knee is bad. Enjoyed watching and Happy Hunting😊
Thanks for watching, more to come soon👍
Congrats on that barber dime. I have been meaning to go look around Cornell area. Always fun finding barbers.
Thanks, my first real find this year, stay tuned for more!
