    How do you only have 140 subs?! The quality and effort put into this restoration is amazing! I was looking for a car flipping video, I saw your thumbnail, and thought “nah it’s only got 200 views, it’s probably not worth watching”. Scrolled past your vid and thought “maybe i should give it a chance” and boy am I glad I did, because you deserve it!! I rarely watch 10+ minute vids but I watched every second of this. Keep up the good work and may your channel receive the recognition it deserves.

    No copper grease should be used anywhere on the brakes! Just check brake pad manufacturer recommendations and no grease to be used at all

      @automobilistica. 2 місяці тому

      Would you be so kind to share an official source for that? Brake manufacturers specifically recommend to grease those components and the cooper grease is for preventing rust on the hub, also for the wheel nuts. As long as you degrease the brake disk once finished, there aren't any downsides.

      @@automobilistica. please check for example ATE manufacturer and his directions of fitting brakes secondly if factory dose not cake everything in copper grease maybe there is a reason and lastly i had to change callipers after damage inflicted by copper grease ohhh and I would forget copper and alloys do not mix

      Hi @@lukaszrejman7913, thank you for your comments. The goal is to have quality information, so please share the evidence if you have it, because until now, ATE as any other renown brake parts manufacturer recommends grease in several points when doing a brake job. New parts don't come covered in cooper grease because they are protected by paint, but it's a common practice in used parts for preventing rust and the wheel getting stuck in the hub.

      @@skinlab4239 thanks for the contribution. I've seen the official guides recommending grease on the tabs too, specially if the pads are going to be consumed in a short period of time.

      @@skinlab4239 nonsense. Been doing it 25 years. All the cars on my books greased come back years later and the pads are still fluid. Grease doesn't suddenly stop being grease when covered in brake dust. It creates a protective layer that keeps the grease in tact. Honestly. Brake dust and grease doesn't = concreate.

    Parts are so cheap now you could just buy some of those parts to save the many hours you spent cleaning them. Depends on what you think your worth per hour.
