UA-cam had a video on a new battery technology termed Diamond which lasted several years. Im sure there are battery technologies out there which are being kept from us which would provide better performance off grid than todays leisure batteries.

Leisure Batterys are no good for off grid use. They are dependent on an electic hook up.

How about making instructions that we can actually read and understand. For instance,there’s a bit in manual that says “for charging and maintenance “, then the diagrams make no sense. Or when it says 2 bars flashing,wtf does the diagram mean, the 2 bars don’t actually flash they just come on constantly and the rest flash. I’ve had to get in touch with yuasa twice and even the guy who emailed me back didn’t seem to understand how it worked 100%

Your batteries are pieces of shit that don't last baby that's why you make so much money off your batteries because everybody got to constantly buy the pieces of shit make good battery so the consumer can count on them or you don't have to have them on a tender all the time

This company does not stand by it's 5 year Guarantee. Many have reported on Trustpiolet That Yuasa won’t honour their warranty. Mine failed after 11 months.

And if it's ok when after some period of time of charging I can smell rotten eggs like? It's still charging, and don't shows any warning lamps or anything?

i lived in the desert and you had to check battery level a year at start & end of hot season. these instruction are good for all lead acid battery owner. But a better visual instructions of correct PPE with procedure steps and over fill instructions would be great addition.

Absolute garbage, yuasa have had a very high failure rate over the last 4/5 years, mant local parts/battery shops have stopped stocking yuasa because of their high failure rates, reading some reviews on trust pilot the batteries are not even lasting a year, clearly its a manufacturing fault. This video is a poor defence and talking in that tone will not convince anyone.

Less than two years after buying a Yuasa battery with 5 year warranty from Halfords it started getting weaker and weaker until it wouldn't hold enough charge to start my car. I returned it to Halfords they tested it and said it needed to be recharged, I recharged it multiple times using a car battery recharger but the battery kept failing to hold enough charge to start my car. I use my car most days for long trips to work. I also checked for a parasitic draw. I got fed up so I purchased a new Bosch battery which solved my problems. I returned to Halfords with the faulty Yuasa battery, they tested it, recharged it then phoned me to say the battery tested okay, I decided to stop wasting anymore of my time so I asked them to dispose of the battery. Disappointed to say the least. I won't be buying a Yuasa battery again.

Amazing that YUASA now come out with this very detailed information, must be that they are having warranty issues which we have had nothing but trouble with YUASA BATTERIES, the old acid battery made by YUASA must have reduced quality or other low voltage issues due to the material used within the battery because in the last 2 years even with the "green" inspection window glowing green the battery has failed.
