pile 3 - exactly what happened... I know this is what he would say to me. He literally chickened out and then after several months, met someone else, and got into a committed relationship. It absolutely shattered my heart, made me feel unwanted and not enough, but now that almost 3 yrs have passed, I truly believe it was meant to go this way. Soon after I broke it off, I got down and dirty on the books, studied for 9 months straight, passed the Bar and became a lawyer.
