BTW the spray cleaner is Acetone. So in a pinch you can clean anything that get in there with Acetone or MEK (or brake/carb cleaner). Also if you have cleaner left over after the job, spray cans of acetone are really useful for general cleaning around the shop (any sticky glue/residue/oils). Note however the cleaner only works on the foam when it is not cured. Once the foam forms that hard outer layer the only real way to get rid of it is physically cutting/scraping it off something. In theory very high heat works, but that gets extremely dangerous.

I've used this and love it. Problem is you have to order it nobody anyplace in new England seems to stock it.

Very short shelf life, I bought the 12 can kit from Amazon but wasn't quite ready to start my project. Kept in Air conditioned garage for about a year, when I tried to use the kit every can was bad. It says 1 year shelf life but it's definitely less than that. Don't buy it till you need it.

It would be nice to have a insulated cover of some sort to keep contents of the can warm while using. Will help keep the spray consistent.

The jury is out; most all reviews report issues with several of the cans being defective with no recourse, they also report temperature sensitivity and a short shelf life.

I bought the kit, I’m still trying to find some documentation on the differences between the 2 little red nozzles. Yes I’m sure I will figure it out after the first can but the point of reading directions are to know before starting the project. I’m very poor and had to save up almost a month to buy this. I’m nervous. Great video but lacking some important details on the kit.

Will this work with any spray foam.

I purchased this product and it came with absolutely no instructions on how to properly use it. So I watched this video and while it demonstrates the product I still have to figure out the process myself. It appears that you spray only one side to be bonded with the spray and only put the glue on the other surface. If this is correct, why couldn’t they just print those instructions on their product and save me the time of having to search for them online and infer them from this video?!!

When spraying a building with existing electrical wiring do you just spray your product directly over and cover the wiring?

"20 square feet at 1 inch thick" - I calculate that to be 1.667 (1-2/3) cu. ft. per 2-bottle kit. Calculating a 6" diameter hole, 3 feet deep, I get about 0.6 cu ft. If I insert a 2" x 2" steel tube as a fence post, the volume is reduced to 0.5 cu ft. (Obviously the video shows a much larger post and hole size.) That means I can use a single 2-bottle kit to set three posts. Q1: Does the scenario I just provide sound right? Q1: Can I use this foam on steel posts? How about painted steel posts? Q2: Once the foam is set, can I pour MORE foam on it. For instance, let's say I pour the liquid, but it doesn't foam up high enough. Can I add more liquid on top of the set foam so that it DOES foam up high enough? (This would be called a "cold pour" in concrete terms, which is NOT a good construction practice.) Any help you can offer would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!
