JamSchool band Gauge 42 rocks the stage at the Guelph Little Theatre for our 17th Annual JamSchool JamBoree. We took the opportunity to record the band live using the Shure PGADrumKit5 microphone kit for the drums and we think the results were excellent! Brown is Eddie’s early sound… original equipment… you know it when you know it & hear it. (They started out calling Alex’s snare sound “brown”.)
Guy in the red shirt has a PHENOMENAL voice
The bagpipes sounds sooo ETHEREAL!!!
3:06 is the most evil guitar tone I have heard in my life. Like pure evil.
Very cool!!! ... but couldn't ya find a violin teacher?
Oh. So you really have hair on the top. Thought you were bald.
#CuckMasks
song at the end?
Good work. I've always wanted to see how they achieved that sound, thanks for posting.
@3:30 Omg this is downright beautiful and brilliant. I've seen a million covers of this song, and this one, ESPECIALLY the ending, was downright PHENOMENAL!!!
Thanks!
I've been on this stupid platform since the absolute beginning and this is hands down, the best thing I've EVER seen.
My goodness you're great at guitar
😢
The face diapers are ridiculous
Yup these guys wre sheeple lol 😅
Bagpipes…..just love it
It's called the brown sound because you shit yourself upon hearing it.
I loved this!
So glad I discovered you today. This is another great cover!
That was fantastic!!
James brown the amp designer
I am looking at a Katana 100/212 MkII. It has the two 12” Katana speakers in it. Are the Katana speakers any good or is that something I might need to think about upgrading at some point with a couple Celestions?
❤
Awesome Lilly!
❤❤❤
How do u get that metal tone I have the same amp and I can't get that kind of metal tone I just recently got a schecter Damien 7 platinum it came with active emg's
Wow !!
Take those stupid masks off
Why is not yellow? Same reason that they didn't call it black.
Greetings from Poland! 🇵🇱
what are the strings tuned to? are the 'c' or what's the tuning?
鲣鱼康塔斯 que bonito cantas. / @Kokybuay
Definitely not the amp to sound 80's like Iron Maiden or Judas Priest😢
❤❤❤
Is it the guitar that is giving it that chug sound or is it the amp? I have this amp and a Les Paul and want to get into playing metal
I have the mkii 50, I play lowest wattage and headphones 90% of the time. I’m able to get some good metal tones with certain patches / settings if I try to make my own. Try lambchopper’s patches, his death51 something is decent on mine I have a prs custom 24 and a Wylde audio Barbarian. And I’m not using anything but the katana speaker / Sony recording headphones. I do feel like you have to create your own to really dial in for yourself/ your guitars though because I’m really finding a lot of high end / tin can issues I’m not stoked about, and don’t know enough about EQ’s /all the settings in general lol also make sure your guitar it’s self’s volume is turned all the way up and then go down from there in that and the tone nob if it’s too much
Mandroid Echostar is such an underrated band. Everyone please look them up. Get them making more music.
what about noise gate?
Very cool tones! On the second, "Gojira like" setting, what parameters do you have under "Booster" tab for the Mid Boost (Drive, Tone, Bottom, Effect Level, etc)? Also, I get lots of feedback with the Katana. Do you use Noise Suppressor? I am not sure if using it affects the tone. Thanks!
Perfect 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼
Very great guy!!
Second video I've seen Canadians review this amp and I can't get over how they pronounce katana 😂
Every now and then i come back to re-watch this video. simply amazing on so many different levels. Made me a fan. Hope everyone is fine and you all could go back to living your lives "before we get much older" ;) Greetings from sunny Lisbon across the pond.
all that AND bagpipes???!!!
Humour I like you bro. Steve & Taylor Why brown not yellow 😂 new subs here🙋♂️
This rocks! my grandson was losing his mind. And when the break drops at 6:14 we pretty much both were 🙂
Because it's soooo heavy it makes you shit yo self.😮💩
Incredible talent!
That outro sounds like an Alter Bridge song.
